VIDEO: Perry Como Sings "Still Alive"
Nothing political tonight. However, I thought I would post a skit from my FAVORITE comedy show of all time---SCTV. This skit is a parody of an overly relaxed Perry Como singing, "Still Alive." Someone once told me he ran into Perry Como years ago in a Publix supermarket down here in Fort Lauderdale. When he asked if the familiar looking gentlemen was really Perry Como, the singer answered, "Yes, and I am STILL alive." Nice to know that the real Perry Como got a kick out of this SCTV skit. It was one of their FUnniest skits. Watch and enjoy!

The term "laid-back" was coined for Perry Como.
Perry Como was my dad's favorite singer. Dad wished he could be as relaxed as Perry, but he knew that would never be possible. Thanks for bringing back old memories! "Catch a falling star, and put it in your pocket, save it for a rainy day."
