"A word to the rich who think that taxes are too high"

If you think I've been exaggerating a tad too much by placing the DUmmie rantings in BOLSHEVIK Red, you won't after reading this THREAD titled, "A word to the rich who think that taxes are too high." This thread is chock full of class hatred, DUmb economics, and a complete ignorance of history. IOW, a typical DUmmie thread. So let us now watch the DUmmies reveal themselves in BOLSHEVIK Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, channeling some scenes from "Dr. Zhivago," is in the [brackets]:

A word to the rich who think that taxes are too high.

[Stand by for the Chekhist liquidation squads?]

LEAVE. Take your money and go. America will survive without you.

[Um...see all that stuff in your basement? Say goodbye to them too.]

People who who think nothing of throwing money away on exclusive country clubs or luxury cars for every day of the week complain that taxes are killing them. well did paying taxes ever take food out of the mouths of your children? They do for the working poor. Go away if you want to tax the poor further, they cannot afford any more taxation then they already have.

[What tax? At poverty level there is no income tax. Only benefits.]

Many rich are living here because our tax structure lets them keep more of their money than other countries. But even here they complain. What do you want, no taxes? Why do you not want to give back to the society that made you rich in the first place? Is the thought that some poor person may benefit from a social program so repugnant? If you would rather people starve, then leave we do not need you.

[You're going to need the enormous amount of tax revenue that the EVIL rich generate.]

America is the best country in the world to be rich in. When you pay country club dues you do it with the knowledge that being there gives you access to business contacts to continue your decadent life. Taxes are the membership dues for America. They allow you to live like kings here in relative safety. If you like your peasants even more desperately poor go elsewhere.

[With his hangup on country clubs, I'm guessing that DUmmy angrycarpenter is a socially awkward jerk who wouldn't be allowed into a country club even if he could afford to pay the dues.]

So rather than ruin our country for the other 90% whom you despise. Go away. Take all of your precious money and go elsewhere. Even if it means depression we will be better off in the long run without your manipulation of our government just for the sake of having your cake and eating it too.

[A slight dose of reality from DUmmie angrycarpenter since he realizes his dopey plan would mean a depression. But that suffering would be worth it since the EVIL rich folks would be purged from America. And now to hear from his fellow Bolshevik DUmmies...]

I do agree that they should shut up, but we do need them
They do help fuel the economy with all of the expensive stuff they consume.

[Like the yachts that Teddy & Co. tried to impose high taxes on. The end result was fewer yachts built and more workers tossed out of their jobs.]

No, we really don't. Wall Street needs them and politicians think they need them, but the country as a whole not only doesn't need them, but would be a far better place without them. They are a huge and constant drain on the rest of us.

[The Stalinist faction of DUmmieland speaks up.]

The ultra wealthy have no place in america... I have seen these super rich individuals spend the equvilant of a year's worth of a working man's salary on meaningless shit.

[Like those Gulfstreams that Algore jets around the world in?]

Well, there's one good thing that will come with global warming. These child-slave-f*cking assholes will be drowned.

[Don't hold back. Tell us how insanely angry you really are.]

They are here to use our country for no other purpose then to get more money. They use their influence to control our government, destroy our environment, and turn our poorest citizens into a resourse to be used and then discarded. I am sure that there are rich who do not fit into this description, they can stay.

[How very tolerant of you.]

Wealth should be taxed progressively.

[It already is, DUmmie.]

Who are you to decide who deserves wealth? Stop being so arrogant and allow people to live their own lives! If you want to fund a program, then ask for voluntary donations. Don't force anyone else to pay.

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

Remember, those who guard your gated community are from the class you are trying to keep out.

[Uh-Oh! I better check to see if an angry DUmmie is working at our front gate.]

They have every intention of leaving, once they have bled out every penny from the economy they can. Then they'll leave us in the gutter living off the scraps.

[You have my permission to gnaw on the chicken bones I am tossing into the scrap heap.]

Do you realize that by the standards of the history of the world, YOU are rich.

[And this DUmmie WINS a Kewpie Doll for having a brief moment of mental clarity!]

Demonizing the rich for not wanting to pay more taxes is not going to improve anything. If you frame the debate as us vs them, you are just going to make things worst.

[Perhaps but you are sure making things FUnnie!]

Us Vs. them is how they operate. We are the designated losers.

[You sure are a loser.]

The DUmmies will never believe that the rich pay nearly all the taxes collected, and still believe that the poor actually pay "taxes" due to the huge chunk of everybody's paycheck that is taken for Social Security and Medicare/Medicade (FICA). Nor do they realize that their employer pays a "payroll tax" for the "privilege" of employing them.

They should read some of Arthur Laffer's stuff once in a while.

So I guess, since high taxes have forced low-income people to starve their children, the people at DU are glad President Bush lowered, and in some cases ended, the taxes low-income families pay.

Oh, and who gives jobs to those low-income families? The folks that DU wants to pack up 30% of the money in American and leave?

"The ultra wealthy have no place in america... I have seen these super rich individuals spend the equvilant of a year's worth of a working man's salary on meaningless shit."

And those purchases paid the wages of the people who designed, manufactured, shipped, and sold that "meaningless shit." Don't forget that real people are employed and are able to earn an income just to provide for one rich man's indulgences. After all, SOMEONE has to make all that "shit," it doesn't grow on trees. That means that, for any given product, there must have been a design and production phase, followed by a sale and delivery of the product. Each step requires that someone makes money as no one works for free. That's a lot of wealth generated just to supply that one man with your so-called "worthless shit!"

Then there's the taxes collected from the "ultra wealthy" man and the people his wealth employ and the sales taxes on the products he purchases. Throw in the huge property taxes he pays as well. Once again, that's a lot of tax revenue collected just to supply that one man with that "worthless shit!" Oh, and let's not forget the contributions to innovation and experimentation (that's called science and invention) required to keep him purchasing more and varied "shit" like PC's, TV's, DVD's, Ect. Then there's the medical advances that are made just to keep that rich man alive and able to acquire even more 'worthless shit." Who knew that a rich man's quest for the acquisition of "worthless shit" could be so, well, valuable to our economy and our society?

Get a clue, DUmmie. When there are no more "rich" people, then EVERYONE ends up poor and most end up dead. The wealthy and their quest for the acquisition of new and varied "meaningless shit" is what fuels the engines of commerce. Without the wealthy to provide the capitol (you know, money) to purchase that "meaningless shit" there is no economy and, therefor, no America.

It is so odd to me that there is no grasp of "Building Wealth".

The wealthy are not privileged miners, digging ore out of the ground only to leave with their vast ill-gotten gains leaving us with the shaft.

No. If you are successful in this country, you build something that people are willing to pay for.

I would have no idea what to do with a handful of wheat, but if Mr. Wonder can turn it into a loaf of good bread, at a price I can afford, I'll gladly buy! I may even take his bread, make sandwiches and sell them to someone who likes turkey and provolone on white with mayo!

If I sell enough, I'll be rich. If not... I guess I think of something else, possibly working for someone else to sustain me while I do so.

Anyone can play. Anyone with imagination, creativity and a few guts.

These whiners won't think the thoughts, do the work, or take the risks... But they'll take my sandwiches away from me if they can!

The poor don't pay any taxes other than the sales tax, you dumbshit!

The "working poor" get income tax credits and can actually get more back in tax refunds than they paid in every year, you dumbshit.

Lower the income tax rates and the poor and lower income workers won't even notice, you dumbshit!

Only the middle and upper income brackets pay significant amounts of taxes, you dumbshit!

That means that the rich, and especially the super-rich, pay the largest amounts of taxes. One super-rich man, like Bill Gates, can pay more in taxes in one year than a hundred lower income men and a million poor men. Since they carry the greatest burden for the cost of government, they deserve our respect and not our scorn, you dumbshit!

Does that answer your question, dumbass?

Brilliant. Know what? Why don't we just wipe out taxes altogether. The whole ball of wax. Fuck the roads. Schools. Bridges. Public safety.

In fact. Let's screw anyone anywhere that needs help. Fuck em. No scholarships. No charity. They don't deserve it. Their kids don't deserve it.

$280,000 million a day in Iraq and Afghanistan, folks. A day. Who's paying for this? I think you know. So much for smaller government. And hey! Let's reduce taxes!! That'll make things a whole lot better.

Wimps. Can't admit you're wrong and then arrogantly declare you won't pay a penny for your mistakes. Not one. Pussies. You can't step up for America, you friggin sheep. It's all about who can't pay. That happens to be you.

Wait a minute, I thought you guys didn't believe in 'primitive' sorts of things. According to most you nutjobs, we all just magically appeared at some point...designed "intelligently". Problem solved. There is no 'primitive'.

Aside from everything, you didn't answer the question, nobrain. Do the poor deserve tax breaks or not? After telling me they don't, you can explain why the rich deserve mondo super-duper tax breaks. This should be instructional for everyone.

"Do the poor deserve tax breaks or not? "

You can't possibly be that stupid! Or can you? Answer this, dumbshit: How can someone who doesn't pay taxes get a bigger break? They can't. Not paying, or getting back more than you payed in, is the biggest "break" you can receive.

"you can explain why the rich deserve mondo super-duper tax breaks"

Could it be that the rich PAY mondo super-duper taxes due to the mondo super-duper tax RATES they're charged? Naw, that can't be true, right? After all, we live in in a country where everyone is equal, right?

But then again, some people are more equal than others, right? Some deserve a bigger slice of the tax dollar pie than others, right? Why should everyone be equal when it comes to the percentage of taxes they pay, right? Some people should be forced to give their money to those who don't have as much, right? I mean, really, HOW DARE THEY MAKE MORE MONEY THAN OTHERS! It just isn't fair!

Do you know what the biggest problem is with the liberals? They're GREEDY! They know that someone makes more money then they do and they get angry. They're jealous of someone else's prosperity. If someone makes more than they do, they want that person to GIVE them the difference so they has just as much money. They don't want anyone to have more then they do and they will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen. That's GREED by anyone's definition.

And they call the rich greedy! Talk about hypocrisy!

Realize that all this "tax the rich" crap is simply stealing from those who produce to reward those who do not produce.

Also another of the chimpanzee's canards -- Fuck em. No scholarships. No charity. They don't deserve it. Their kids don't deserve it.... the gubmint shouldn't control charity via taxation anymore than they should control what any free person does with their own property.

If the gubmint was taking less out of people's pockets, everybody would have more money to choose to use charitably or to use to purchase the best education for their children their money can buy. The operative concept here is "individual choice" rather than what t-man would have, "socialist dictum."

The difference between conservatives and "progressives" (Orwellian for repressives) is that conservatives see big gubmint as the problem while repressives see big gubmint as the answer to all problems.

No, Congress just passed $150+B of additional deficit spending for a "vote stimulation package" that gives tax re-bates to those who pay no tax. They in fact dictated that there be NO rebates for anyone who makes enough money to pay taxes in the first place.

Then the bastards turn right around and bitch about the "Bush deficits!" I hope Bush comes to his senses and vetoes the damn thing. He must've been crazy to even encourage that dumbass bill in the first place.

"Brilliant. Know what? Why don't we just wipe out taxes altogether. The whole ball of wax. Fuck the roads. Schools. Bridges. Public safety."

That's actually a good idea (to a certain extent anyways) as private industry, combined with local communities, can always create the goods and services any society requires at a cheaper cost than that of any centralized government. After all, that how things used to be done in America.

Prior to 100 years ago, and especially before the "New Deal", local citizens (and the local governments that were comprised of, and controlled by, those citizens) built the roads, the schools, the hospitals, and any other necessary public structures and they provided other social services like educating their children and providing public security. It wasn't done at the direction federal government, but at the direction of the local people who needed the services and paid for them out of their own pockets.

It was a good strategy that built America from the bottom up. Now we're tearing it apart from the top down as we rely more and more on a central government to make all the decisions for us and to provide the funds to build the things that government decides we need. It's paid for by taking income away from the vast majority of people who will never use the goods and services the federal government insists we must have. Whether we actually need those services or not has become immaterial. The federal government says we need it so we all must pay for it. Local interests no longer apply.

Due to increased involvement of the federal government in controlling our own lives, we've forgotten just what individuality responsibilities are and what what it means to be Americans. We are losing control of our own destinies by surrendering more and more decisions to a centralized government. That's a loosing strategy as history has shown time and time again. Our Founding Fathers would be ashamed.

So how much, ray, should someone receiving $660 a month from Social Security pay in taxes? You suggest we let Walmart take care of these Social Security low-lifes and things will just shake out?

What the hell. They're mostly old and hang out at Walmart anyway. Let private interests take care of them. Then it's not your problem anymore. Haliburton, G.E., Sony, Microsoft and Nike will step up and take care of things. You're rich enough to take care of your parents, right ray?

Doesn't matter. If your parents can't carry the weight, screw em. They deserve only what they're able to pay for. I get the picture.

"So how much, ray, should someone receiving $660 a month from Social Security pay in taxes?"

Dude, you really ARE stupid! Supplemental security income, also knows as SS income, is NOT taxable! If all you income is derived solely from SS, you owe no taxes and don't even need to file a return. So, how much in taxes DO you pay on $660.00 a month of SS income? ZERO!

Your strawman argument of poor people paying too much in taxes is actually counterproductive as POOR PEOPLE DON"T PAY TAXES! It's making you look like a fool. I suggest you try another one, like how tax increases hurt middle income people more than rich people. At least that one has a bit of truth in it.

The Alternative Maximum Tax that the blue-staters bitch so much about is hitting them hard BECAUSE of their high state taxes that are not deductible from their Federal taxes under the AMT.

Oh, by the way, poor people pay the increased prices driven by the taxes producers of goods and services pay, so in a sense they are indeed paying taxes indirectly through every purchase they make.

"Oh, by the way, poor people pay the increased prices driven by the taxes producers of goods and services pay, so in a sense they are indeed paying taxes indirectly through every purchase they make."

Let me emulate our resident DUmmie by saying:

Damn those rich bastards for passing off their increased expenses to the poor by raising their prices! Who cares if the producers of goods and services loose money! Poor people deserve to pay lower prices!

To hell with a fixed pricing scheme where everyone pays the same amount for the same product or service. Why the hell should everyone pay the same price for goods and services when they don't make the same amount of income? It's just not fair! We need a graduated pricing system where people are forced to only pay as much as they can afford!

Congress should make a law that requires everyone to bring a certified copy of their federal tax return to a supplier of goods and services and they must pay an amount that is commensurate with their income. The more you earn, the more you pay. Any difference between the actual costs of goods and services and the amount of profits a supplier or produced receives should be turned over the the federal government and added to the general fund for redistribution to the poor! Isn't that right, Trog?
