Hillary Prepares To Soil Obama
I KNEW this was going to happen and it is going to be FUn to watch. She Who Is Not To Be Denied the Presidency is now getting desperate due to the fact that Barack Obama has surged past her in the polls. As a result, the Hillary War Room is going into overdrive in an attempt to smear Obama. They haven't pulled out the big guns quite yet but the dirt they did hurl was quite amusing. This dirt came in the form of the fact that young Barack (or Barry as he was known then) was overheard in kindergarten expressing a desire to become president. That assertion was so laughable that after a couple of days, Hillary flunkie, Mark Penn, had to pretend that, heh-heh, it was really a joke all along. Yeah...suuuuure. What is going to be fascinating to watch will be the really dirty smears the Hillary people are preparing to hurl Obama's way. They have no reluctance to engage in such dirty campaigning since Hillary MUST win at all costs. So stand by for some great entertainment ahead. This HUffington Post THREAD titled, "Obama Cashing In On Clinton Criticism," is but one of many such threads about Hillary's dirty campaign in the leftwing blogosphere. So let us now watch the HUffies get offended by Hillary's smear campaign in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who loves to watch Democrats smear other Democrats, is in the [brackets]:
Obama Cashing In On Clinton Criticism
[If I had a buck for every smear hurled by Hillary, I would be rich.]
Senator Barack Obama is capitalizing on his political opponent's attacks by using them as a cash cow. In an email yesterday and today to his supporters, the Illinois Democrat asked for donations to help respond to criticisms lobbed his way by primary opponent Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY.
[Barack. This is just the beginning. It won't be mere criticisms that will be hurled at you. Be prepared to be on the receiving end of some REAL dirt. That is the Hillary way of campaigning. Get used to it.]
"Several weeks ago, Senator Clinton said she wasn't going to attack fellow Democrats," Ben Labolt, an Obama spokesman told the Huffington Post, "but as the polls have shifted, that has changed. While Senator Clinton said attacking other Democrats is the 'fun part' of the campaign, we think this campaign must be centered around uniting the country and solving people's problems. As we said at the outset, we plan to respond forcefully with the truth when we are attacked."
[FUn for Hillary and FUn for me watching the smear attack.]
During the past week, Clinton has accused Obama of, among other things, being inexperienced in foreign affairs and overly-ambitious politically. The attacks, however, ventured towards the absurd when the Clinton campaign accused Obama of being a careerist by citing, among other things, a report written by his kindergarten teacher saying that Obama wanted to be president. Two days after that attack was leveled, Mark Penn, Clinton's chief strategist, said the early schooling reference was meant to be a joke.
[Clinton diggs into Obama's kindergarten records but won't release her own college thesis about fighting dirty to the public.]
The back-and-forth reflects what political observers say is a growing acrimony between the candidates. Indeed, as the primary election approaches and the race tightens, the campaign has grown increasingly nasty. As reporter David Corn highlighted in a recent blog post, members of Clinton's campaign have come to "despise" Obama for being, what they deem to be, a "dishonest poser."
"They truly believe it," Corn writes. "And other Democrats in Washington report encountering the same when speaking with Clinton campaign people. "They really, really hate Obama," one Democratic operative unaffiliated with any campaign, tells me. "They can't stand him. They talk about him as if he's worse than Bush." What do they hate about him? After all, there aren't a lot of deep policy differences between the two, and he hasn't gone for the jugular during the campaign. "It's his presumptuousness," this operative says. "That he thinks he can deny her the nomination. Who is he to try to do that?" You mean, he's, uh, uppity? "Yes." A senior House Democratic aide notes, "The Clinton people are going nuts in how much they hate him. But the problem is their narrative has gone beyond the plausible.""
[Hillary hates Obama because he is a stumbling block to her annointment as president. And now to the HUffie responses to this dirty campaign...]
Is it just me, or does this seem like one of the LAMEST lineups of possibilities for the presidency this country has ever seen this campagne season?
[Or in champagne season.]
I hope it's not true that someone in Clinton campaign said that they think Obama is uppity. Everyone knows that what other word is assoicated with uppity and it's not negro. I think HRC internal polls are showing more deep trouble for her campaign so she is slashing and burning hoping Edwards will win Iowa (knowing he doesn't have the organization or money to go the distance) so that she can neutralize Obama and Hillary can grab her crown.
[Anyone standing in the way of Her Highness will be labeled as uppity.]
Listen to Hillary's nit-picking...no love lost for Obama...her true colors are shining through, and she's gonna hang her own nomination if she keeps it up!!
[Beautiful!!!]
The remark from Clinton operative said "That Obama thinks he can deny her the nomination. Who is he to try to do that." That's a further proof that Clinton exudes a sense of entitlement, which has extended to her entire camp. She does think that by dafault she should be the nominee. Shame on her!
[The great thing about Hillary is that she will take down Obama at ALL COSTS even if she looks like a dirtbag in doing so.]
Good for him. Let her pay the price of attacking his kindergarten paper.
[True story. In kindergarten I actually thought Santa Claus was the president. I didn't get straightened out on this until the first grade.]
So shrill Hill keeping with a bet she made with her hair dresser, pulls up her pants and demonstrates how butch she can be. Reading prepared attack statements her desperation evident, she informs the audience that Obama had presidential ambitions while still in kindergarten .(she somehow missing the irony of that statement when compared to who is now sitting in oval office). Obama cool as a cucumber refutes the accusations with a wry smile, knowing the basis of her attacks stem from internal polling showing her approval dropping faster then slick willies pen behind a women wearing a shirt skirt. Obama , confidence growing by the minute, uses the attacks to raise a few quick million from the women Oprahs endorsement have brought to his campaign. One such women when asked why she has changed her support from Hillary to Obama explains it this way, "Nothing personal but to me Obama is THE MAN! but Hillary will always be just one of the girls."
[Shrill Hill wants to Kill Bill for hurting her campaign with his recent statement about always being opposed to the war in Iraq.]
A lot of Hillary supporters are having second thought after she attacked him for an essay he wrote in Kindergarten. That's wack.
[Was his kindergarten essay a thesis about political attack ala Saul Alinsky?]
Look at her recent petty attacks on Obama. Do you think she can win over Republicans after they hear her investigating his grammar school papers to show how AMBITIOUS Obama is? I mean HRC labeling someone else ambitious will probably ensure that if she gets the nod, it will be at a very narrow margin. She won"t win over enough independents or Republicans because she is incredibly disliked. That is how the Dems will lose the WH nominating her. We didn"t lose good enough with Kerry, so we should run Hillary. LOL
[Democrats are in a lose/lose situation thanks to Hillary's desperation.]
Hillary won't win in the general and is less and less popular the more we have to see and hear her, and Obama can't win in the general election so what are we doing..?
[Try giving up...NOW!]
So true.. Hillary suporters come join us. The truth will set you free! It must be hard for you to wake up everyday and having to justify all her lapses in judgement like her vote for the Iraq war, her disingenous positions, her flip floping. I know you mean well, but Hillary's not what America needs right now. We need an honest principled leader who will not cast votes based on political expediency. America needs someone like Obama. Be honest, Obama is reminiscent of a JFK or an Abe Lincoln. These type of leaders only come once in a lifetime. Let's seize the opportunity and move America towards greatness!
[Have no fear. Once the Hillary War Room gets done with Obama he will be unelectable permanently.]
Popularity is a strange thing. Suddenly Donnie and Marie Osmond are back in the headlines and people want me to vote for Obama. No thanks to all three of them...
[I'm sort of leaning towards seeing Marie Osmond in the White House.]
Father was an atheist.
[So was Barack's mother. Plus she was an earth child type space cadet. But I'll let the Hillary campaign publicize all that info. Hee! Hee!]
However, personal attacks only feed into ammunition the Republicans will seek to use later, and personal attacks are all the Republicans have. Conservative policies have already failed across the board under George W. Bush.
[Let's see. Hillary makes personal attacks on Obama so it must be the fault of the EVIL Republicans.]
Mrs. Bill is turning into a laughings stock, and Bill is helping.
[Anyone get the feeling that Mr. Bill is not too keen on Mrs. Bill going back into the White House?]
We will decide who becomes the next president. And if that disrupts Hillary's plans to be crowned Queen Madame President --- well, then GOOD!!
[Careful. Hillary already has the transcripts of your kindergarten essays. BTW, do kids in kindergarten even write essays? Somehow I remember it wasn't until the first grade before we even began learning how to spell.]

I was wondering when someone would get around to mentioning that...
On experience alone, the three frontrunners combined have a paucity of experience in politics that is breathtaking!
Obama is too new, Hillary's experience are based on sniffing Bill's coattails, and Edwards?
He's such a noob, the doofs avoid him.
It's wartime kids, like it or not, amateurs are not gonna hack it in the Oval Office.
You're kinda hosed here.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall in some of Hillary's closed-door metings where she's seething about her lead vanishing, and see what she really says about Obama, and what racial epithets she is most likely using. Wouldn't it be great to see her in a complete meltdown?
"I hope it's not true that someone in Clinton campaign said that they think Obama is uppity. Everyone knows that what other word is assoicated with uppity and it's not negro."
A bit of race baiting here, don't ya think? When I think of "uppity", the first word that comes to my mind is bitch, as in: Obama seems to be a clean, articulated, uppity son of a bitch.
Yeah gotta love the tolerant left. Uppity indeed.
I think Obama actually does demonstrate good leadership. He's obviously a charismatic and likable guy. But there is no depth, no substance. Good leadership skills are not in and of themselves a good thing. Your policy has to work. Obama just doesn't have policy. Which scares me.
Hilary is well, a bitch. Half the country just plain doesn't like her. On the other hand, she has a good deal of experience, albeit unofficial, but come on, she was co-President for eight years. So she has policy. But her policy scares me. Deeply.
You know in early 06 I despaired, because I knew that the Dems would win 08. But we have a shot. I just hope it isn't Huckabee. Because, well, he's completely unfit to be President.
I'm not religious, but please God, don't make me choose between Edwards and Huckabee.
"[If I had a buck for every smear hurled by Hillary, I would be rich.]" PJ
I'll give you a buck for every Hillary hurl if you give me a buck for every PJ hurl. Hurl for Hurl.
Anyone else want get in on this?

"...Wouldn't it be great to see her in a complete meltdown?"
It's the very fact that she would have a complete meltdown that makes her so unfit. Presidents are not allowed to "melt down".
It's in the manual
You'd loose a lot of money troglaman.
Remember, PJ qoutes the DUmmies word for word, THEN ridicules their statement. That's not a hurl, that's a fact.

A smear is a lie. Quoting someone and giving your opinion of their words is called commentary.
"A smear is a lie. Quoting someone and giving your opinion of their words is called commentary." Britt
Thanks for clearing that up. No, really.
"You'd loose a lot of money troglaman. Remember, PJ qoutes the DUmmies word for word, THEN ridicules their statement. That's not a hurl, that's a fact." skul
Listen to me very closely. Anyone, anywhere can find crazies on all the blogs anytime, all the time. Deep in you're heart, you know this to be true. I sometimes appreciate PJ's attempts at humor but most of the time don't.
On the other hand, the fact that PJ doesn't immediately ban me for my assholeness is appreciated. Just saying.
Might I suggest you get a free blogspot account and do the Freeper Follies? Just cred me for the name if you use it. If every website has crazies then surely you can find some on FR. I never go there, so maybe there is a lot of untapped comedy. Surely Huckabee supporters or Paulians post on FR. I know they say dumb things.
