"So now we know that pelosi was playing with us all along..."

Yeah, I know. Two DUFU editions on the same TOPIC in one day. However, I just can't help myself. The sense of betrayal on the part of the DUmmies is just too delicious to ignore so pardon me for dining on this delicious feast of DUmmie Despair. BURP! This morning it was the KOmmies in a glum mood and now it is the turn of the DUmmies as you can see in this THREAD titled, "So now we know that pelosi was playing with us all along..." So let us now watch the DUmmies work themselves into a lather over what they perceive as a stab in the back by Nancy Pelosi in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if Pied Piper Pitt has found his Angry yet, is in the [brackets]:

So now we know that pelosi was playing with us all along...

[Not exactly a mental image I would like to keep in my memory bank.]

her silence on the water-boarding issue makes her an accomplice in this whole f*cked up new world order.

Like I have been saying for a while now, we have been treated to a grand kabuki review the likes of which history has never seen. And the best part, the Dems who are supposed to be the "adults that are now in charge" are no better than the sycophant repukes. With adults like this, we don't need abusive parents, because these dems are a hell of a lot worse than any child beater could ever dream to be.

[Dems are supposed to be the adults in charge???]

Just think now to abu garib!! they f*cking knew!! They gave the f*cking green light to the bullshit that went down there!!

[Nancy was the one working the camera.]

with their willful silence on water-boarding, abu garib now can be rightly hung around their necks as well.

[And I'm blaming Nancy for my missing mattress tag.]

The curtain has been pulled back folks. these...these, dems are not dems at all. They are enabling mother f*ckers.

[Don't hold back. Tell us what you really think, DUmmie Javaman.]

pelosi, if you have even and ounce of self respect you will make a statement about this water-boarding issue.

[Pelosi is now in a witness protection program.]

however, like everything these dems do, they will suddenly have a full schedule and not find the time. Kuncinich's impeachment bill anyone? but you know, they were working their f*cking fingers to the bone doing what ever other poor sap in this nation does day in and day out, work 5 days a week (some saps, 7 days a week, with multiple jobs) and now they cut back to 3 again. Because, it's an election year. Who gives a f*ck about the people when more important stuff comes up, like trying to come up with new and creative back peddling to save their full of shit jobs.

[Enjoying that sense of betrayal?

I'm done. I'm done with them. I'm sticking by the true principles of the Democratic party, not this new bizarre bastardized version of closet repukes. Because, flame me all you want, but this news, paints them as just that. Face it folks, it's no longer a matter of these so called dems growing a spine, it's an issue of them actually being dems. They have strayed so far from what it means to be a Democrat, it's an insult to the party and to us for them to continue calling themselves such.

[We own ALL your Democrats!]

We progressives are the Dems, We stand by the true platform. They have left us. They don't listen to us. They don't give a damn about us. They only continue to line their pockets. it's the people against the government.

[I'm stand in awe of your moral purity.]

Now sit back and take a comfy seat on the wild ride of bullshit that we are going to witness as the massive drama unfolds in a passion play that I like to call, "the great sycophantic backpedal"

[Are you comfy?]

a very frightening thought just occurred to me. who else in congress knew about this water-boarding?? Who of the presidential candidates????? Is the body rotting far more from within than we realize?

[You can absolutely trust Hillary. And now to hear more outrage from the rest of the DUmmies...]

They must think we are mushrooms the way they try
to keep us in the dark and feed us shit.

[Have some more nutrients, Mr. Mushroom.]

I expect the Bushies to behave like Kinder and Gentler Nazis, to mislead, obfuscate and lie; to torture and murder. It is what they have self-selected for now three decades, a fact now most self-evident. But to have our Democrats behave this way? To become increasingly aware that Nancy Pelosi views us with almost as much contempt as the Bushies? To see seriasl-felonies shamelessly performed in open daylgith, essentially unopposed?

[Pelosi is our Nan-churian Candidate.]

Thwe Dem leadership has paid us nothing but lip service. Nancy Pelosi is protecting Bush. She needs to go and take Harry Reid with her.

[And from the size of her swollen lips, that must be some lip service.]

It's quite the betrayal, isn't it? I don't think I've ever been as angry as I have been today. You expect Republicans to be facist, torture-loving cretins, but not the Democratic Speaker of the House. I wish hell would open up under D.C. and swallow the lot of them

[I still don't know if Pied Piper Pitt has found his Angry yet.]

yea but alot of her legislation is bull shit that has no chnce of final passage it's part of the charade-ie the recent energy bill where she loaded on tax hikes for oil producers that even surprised environmentalists--therebye ensuring nonpassage---she is a scumbag of the highest order

[Nancy is inept on our orders.]

You need to realize that this is bigger than torture. We elected this party to do something about the fascism that has been taking place in this country. Well, since they've been elected they have granted Bush the legal authority to go to war with Iran, continue torture, continue the war in Iraq, do jack shit about global warming, and now we find out that they knew about the torture all along, and yet still voted to give Bush more power. There's a lot more going on here than a case of the poor Democrats who really, really, REALLY wanted to do something about all these things, but couldn't because they were in the minority or they weren't allowed to speak or they didn't have the correct intelligence or shucksy wucksy, they didn't know then what they know now or whatever other lame excuse you or they themselves or anybody else can come up with to defend the indefensible. They are complicit. They have always been complicit. If you don't see that then you are the one who needs to wise up.

[Democrats as collaborators of Der ChimpenFuhrer.]

Pelosi's office has come out and stated that she had indeed been fully briefed on Bush's torture policy in 2002. I don't recall her using the power of her office to speak out or request an investigation into the Bush administration's illegal policy in the 5 years since. Not even a hint. She was sworn to secrecy? Actually, in this case, speaking out would make one a hero. She kept silent, and therefore, is complicit with our government's illegal policy of torture. But go ahead and continue to ignore every instinct that tells you this woman is a f*cking, self-opportunistic phony. I did, until today. No more.

[May we send you an invitation to a Nancy Pelosi fundraiser?]

Pelosi has probably been the biggest political disappointment ever in my life. Even more than Bush, because I never had any hope for him. but I had high hopes for her, and she has trashed them over and over again. They should all be tried for war crimes. I'm beginning to see now why Pelosi won't impeach Bush. Because she realizes that she could be next if he falls.

[To The Hague for Pelosi where she will be tried for lacking truthiness.]

I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone.

[See that signpost up ahead? You're in the DUmmie Zone.]

We've all been betrayed. Let us join hands and jump into the river.

[That was Perry Logan who keeps us entertained with his bizarro videos. Hey, Perry! Do a video about Nancy Pelosi and I might feature it in the DUmmie FUnnies.]

Every f*cking one of them should be arrested for being an accomplice after the fact. They need to be tried and, if convicted, imprisoned. The ones actually doing the torturing should be given far, far worse.

[Like waterboarding?

Now we see the rotting corpse of all government, maggot filled corruption of the body politic. The stench is pervasive and contageous, there's only one thing left to do....WELCOME TO THE REVOLUTION OF WE THE PEOPLE. We did it before and we CAN do it again.

[You did it before...in 1917.]

Your delicious triumph in this case is because the left thinks Pelosi is a hack. What you don't get is that Pelosi really is a hack, like you. So is Rockefeller. So are countless other Dems. So are 99% of the Grand Ol' Party.

This isn't delicious, it's stale. Dry. Old. Day Old Rhetoric. Turn the page, PJ. Keep up.

Nah! This is still fresh...

Watching Zombelosi writhe under the heatlamp of "Progressive" ire is wonderful. Yet another nail in the coffin of Dem-controlled... anything!

The LA and NY Times note that the surge is working and progress is being made in Iraq, France and Germany have elected pro-U.S. leadership, the stock market perks along despite the housing realignment, and Hillary is declining in the polls.

Not bad at all!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Very rarely does a moonbat post a response here using humor or reverse mockery. Instead they just post the same old boring wonkish crap and their fantasy list of crimes that Bush,Cheney, now Pelosi, and anyone else that dosen't think like them(like 90% of the country)have committed. Which is why we mock them in the first place
Now I don't know which is funnier..how sieriously they take themselves, or their lack of a sense of humor. Of course moonbats consider it a hate crime to make fun of them. Which makes this a hate site. Which is why I'm posting this with a sheet on my swastika tatooed forehead.

"Most of the troops in Iraq want to get out."

Bullshit, most troops in Iraq want us to win. Most of the troops in Iraq actually believe that we can make a big difference. Most of the troops believe that the Iraqi's are worth fighting (and dying) for.

"This is the defining battle of our generation."

You're right about that. Every generation since WWII has produced Americans who destroy tyrants and help Democracy to prevail.

My Father spent three years as an infantryman during WWII helping to stop the Fascists (Remember the Nazis?) and Imperialists (Remember the Japanese?) from destroying the world and helping to restore and defend Democracy. Thanks to America, tyrants were stopped and Democracy prevailed.

I spent three in the Army in the mid 80's as a Cobra mechanic. 18 months of that was in Germany where I was helping to keep the Socialists from destroying the world (Remember the Soviets?) and to protect Democracy. Thanks to America, tyrants were stopped and Democracy prevailed

Now this generation is in the Middle East trying to keep the IslamoFascists from destroying the world and are helping to build and protect Democracy in Iraq and elsewhere. Once again, thanks to America, tyrants are being stopped and Democracy prevails.

This is not about political affiliations, this is not about "us verses them", this is not about who will be the President, this is about doing what is necessary in Iraq to end tyranny and to create and defend the greatest form of government the world has ever known, Democracy.

Thanks to America, Iraq is no longer ruled by despots and tyrants and it's people have embraced Democracy. We are protecting them and their newly formed Democracy. How can anyone find fault in that?

"Is anyone else getting irritated by the America hating, military despising fanatical left wing nutjobs like toglaman?"

Not me, I actually feel pity for him and others like him as he shows little understanding of the American military and how it works, especially how the military is staffed by volunteers.

He, like most people, fail to realize that the Iraq war has gone on longer than most enlisted people have served in their term of enlistment. Since we have an all volunteered military, and since most enlistments last for only 4 years, every enlisted service member who is stationed in Iraq has ether enlisted or reenlisted for military service DURING the Iraq war. That means they knew they may be fighting in Iraq yet they still volunteer to serve. I wonder just how that fits into some people's belief that "Most of the troops in Iraq want to get out?"

Is it? Do you really think "doing what is necessary in Iraq" (whatever the fuck that is) will "create and defend the greatest form of government the world has ever known, Democracy?" Do you have any insight into how idiotic this sounds?

Let's understand something here. Iraq was not a threat. No nukes. No chemicals. No biological weapons. No submarine fleet. No missiles. No army. No navy. No marines. No air force. And this is the nation that threatened the greatest form of government ever known? Right. Go ahead and believe it. You're entitled.

Don't feel sorry for me, Ray. I deal with soldiers every day. Their wives. Their kids. I go to their weddings and their funerals. If you think they're happy about 18 month deployments, you're nuts. It's as simple as that. And shoveling your twisted "they volunteered" shit as proof of their commitment really doesn't address the fact that the army was ordered into Iraq for dubious reasons and they now know it. They know it was bullshit. They're not cattle. But they also know they signed on to do what they're told to do. And they do it. That does not mean, by any stretch of the imagination, that they believe they're doing the right thing. They're doing what they're told to do.

If, Ray, you're not aware of poll after poll that indicates both the army GI and their families think this war is wrong, then you're simply not paying attention. That's your problem.

Are you a 'grape' or 'fruit punch' guy?

Where's troglaman's link to these supposed polls? Assertions are easy (especially if you have a point at the top of your head). Evidence is probably waaaaaaay too hard for our trollish friend.

And since the War in Iraq has been going on for more than 4 years (the normal enlistment period) it would seem that most or all of those currently in the military enlisted or re-enlisted after the War started and with full knowledge.

It could be worse. troglaman could suddenly start using logic and facts. (Oops. That wouldn't work. Then his assertions could be more easily seen to be pinheaded.)

Saddam was a threat to the entire Middle East, or have you forgotten about that? Over his 30 year reign of terror, Saddam attacked Iran and started a war that killed over a million people, He used chemical weapons against Iran and his own people. He invaded Kuwait. He launched missiles into Israel. He trained terrorists. He pay cash to the families of suicide bombers. He tortured, maimed, and killed anyone who opposed him. It's obvious that he was a threat to EVERYONE! But don't let the facts get in the way of your love of tyrannies.

"Nearly 60 percent of readers who participated in a recent Military.com poll said the United States should withdraw its troops from Iraq now or by the end of 2008."

This is not a poll of the troops in Iraq, this is a poll of Military.com readers. Where's you link of a poll of the troops themselves? The only one I could find was a March 2006 Zogby poll as printed in Stars and Strips that stated that "Seventy-two percent of troops on the ground in Iraq think U.S. military forces should get out of the country within a year, according to a Zogby poll released Tuesday."

As to your "most of the troops want to get out" statement, the Zogby poll finds that "Of the 72 percent, 22 percent said troops should leave within the next six months, and 29 percent said they should withdraw “immediately.” Twenty-one percent said the U.S. military presence should end within a year; 5 percent weren’t sure."

It looks to me that, back in 2006, that majority of troops actually didn't think we should pull out of Iraq until after a year had passed (29 percent of the 70 who wanted to leave plus the 40 percent who wanted to stay.) And this was before the surge started and the progress in Iraq increased dramatically. How does THAT fit in with you belief that the troops want us to abandon Iraq today?

Here's a more recent poll by the AP: "By 52 percent to 41 percent, most said the U.S. is making progress in Iraq. When AP-Ipsos last asked that question in September 2006 - a time when vicious sectarian attacks resembled a civil war - just 39 percent saw improvements under way.

While far greater proportions of Republicans than Democrats think progress is being made, even growing numbers of Democrats agree. The portion of Democrats saying the troop increase has helped stabilize the country has nearly doubled since September to 26 percent, and the number saying the U.S. is making progress has shown similar growth."

It looks to me that Americans are starting to realize that we're actually making a lot of progress in Iraq and that the effort is worth it. How does THAT make you feel? Heh!

The only question that matters today is who would benefit from a precipitous American withdrawal from Iraq.

All the rest is academic; fodder for future historians.

Right now, it would benefit the bad guys. So I'm against it.

All other considerations, including whatever the soldiers think, and how much you hate Bush, is immaterial.

Wars are not fought or abandoned because of what the soldiers think. I adore them, but determining the prosecution of the war is most definitely NOT their job.

That we're even talking about it shows how far we've gone down the road of touchy-feely Liberal idiocy.

Even if every single troop in Iraq wants to leave today, it's still the wrong thing to do, because it would hand victory to the enemy.

The object of war is to beat the enemy into submission. Until we do that, we're not done.

The prosecution of this war is not their job? Then who... Nevermind. The soldiers have absolutely nothing to do with it. Of course. It's obviously YOUR JOB to know what's best. Sorry I brought it up. Who needs to have the soldiers on board, anyway? They're merely fodder in the cosmic battle of right and wrong. They don't think. They fight and die.
