Thanksgiving in DUmmieland: The tradition continues

It's that  time of year again. Every year at DUmmie FUnnies we check in with the DUmmies to see how their Thanksgiving went. Usually it consists of a) non-traditional weirdness, b) confrontations with conservative relatives, c) conversions of conservative relatives, or d) all of the above.

Let's see how it went this year. We begin with this THREAD, "How will you spend Thanksgiving?" and move on to others.

So let us now go and spend Thanksgiving with the DUmmies, in Bolshevik Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson--who did the odd thing and actually went to church and gave to thanks to God for his blessings on our country, which is the reason we have the day off in the first place--is in the [brackets]:

How will you spend Thanksgiving?

[This thread is posted in DUmmieland's LGBT Group, which is not the same as a GBLT group. No, this group is not about giblets. Rather, these are DUmmies who like to stuff the turkey from the backside.]

My partner (I dislike the term, but prefer to wait to call him 'husband' until we are married when it is legal where we live) and I will be staying home. His supportive parents will be coming to visit to enjoy a meal that he will prepare. He loves to cook!

[Watch out for that turkey baster!]

I'm going to have a nice quiet evening with some turkey thighs.

[TMI !!]

Cher Savages Thanksgiving: ‘I Don’t’ Celebrate the ‘Beginning of a Great Crime’

[We move on to Cher. Always important to get her take on the big stories. BTW, Mr. Headline Writer, I see what you did there.]

Cher said that the American settlers were guilty of taking land from native Americans who had no concept of property ownership and also intentionally infected them with smallpox.

[OK, even if all of that were true, which it isn't, I guess we should all feel guilty and not celebrate anything, because of what happened hundreds of years ago when many of our ancestors were still in Europe. Cher has spoken.]

Cher explained: “Stealing Land, from a ppl, Who believed, Owning Land Was LIke Owning SKY!” “We gave them Blankets laced w/ Smallpox,” Cher concluded.

[WE did this! u cant, steal SKY! and Smallpox Blankets! what were we thinkng?? im like omg!!]

Possession of stolen property is also a crime.

[The first DUmmie--obviously a LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!--posts this photo of Cher's HUMUNGOUS MANSION, which rests on STOLEN NATIVE PROPERTY:]

[Hee! Hee!]

Cher could do a lot of good by selling her 45 million dollar mansion and donating the money and land back to the natives.

[If she could turn back time. . . .]

for gods sake. cher is NATIVE.

[for gods sake. cher is NAIVE.]

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch with my family. . . . What does Cher do, I wonder.

[I suppose she lays a wreath at the grave of her late husband, Bono, formerly of U2, and then goes off and has tofurkey dinner with her daughterson, Chaztity, and its partner.]

She needs to read "Guns, Germs, and Steel".

[Is that the sequel to "Gypsys, Tramps, and Thieves"? Oh, FUn Fact: Cher cannot read.]

Thanksgiving is different things to different people. . . .

[And the DUmmies are definitely different.]

For some, it is the High Holiday of Family and Togetherness.
For some, it is a feast and blob out day.
For some, it is a day to help others, at a food kitchen or shelter or at a paid/volunteer job of some sort.
For some, it is a day to go out to eat, to celebrate whateverness.

[For DUmmies, it is a day to celebrate whateverness, as long as that whateverness does NOT include giving thanks to GOD.]

Some spend it alone.
Some spend it with others.
Some ignore it.
Some hate it, not feeling like celebrating or being thankful, instead mourning or loathing the peer pressure.
Some eat too much.
Some eat too little.
Some watch sports.
Some watch movies.
Some go for walks.

[Some go on and on and on with parallel constructions, thinking this makes for clever writing.]

Some celebrate it on that day.
Some celebrate it on another day.
Some don't celebrate it.
There is no one "Right" way to feel, be, or do. There are many different ways to act, to feel, to be. Don't hurt people, don't hurt things.

[I'm thinking by now I would like to hurt YOU. Is that OK, since there is no one "Right" way to feel, be, or do?]

Thanksgiving Conservative Relative

[Here it is, the predictable "Thanksgiving with Teabaggers" bouncy . . .]

I'm one of few liberals in the family, and I just don't care to get fights started when I want to be enjoying pie. . . .

[Except, this time, I'm guessing you WILL get into a fight.]

the BIL's step-dad, who is very religious, has been trying to start political arguments with me. Last year about abortion. . . .   I was feigning being asleep after dinner and was actually trying to drop off when he started up about abortion and tried to drag me into it. I think I headed off any further discussion by saying, "You can be against abortion all you want from a religious standpoint, but if you're also against things like comprehensive sex education and birth control, then you can wring your hands about so-called immorality and pray all you want, but you're just working against your primary goal of reducing the abortion rate."

[Huh? You headed off further discussion because nobody could figure out what the heck you were talking about.]

This year, out of the blue, he just made some crack about Obamacare, while looking straight at me. . . . Later on, he brought it up again (particularly the website), so I headed him off with a two-pronged attack - first the website isn't Obamacare. It's a tool that needs fixing, and second, Obamacare has been with us for three years, and both democrats and republicans like it as both will gladly take money through the program to benefit hospitals and medical facilities in their districts including a couple of republicans from the Wichita area who did photo ops earlier this year at a couple of medical facilities giving some big-ass (both in physical size and amount) Obamacare checks to them.

[Ah, the old incoherent, rambling, run-on sentence strategy again, eh? This year I think you're more incomprehensible than ever.]

He shut up after that.

[He was fast asleep. It's hard to talk when you're asleep.]

I refuse to visit, eat or host anyone who is a republican.

[Please don't eat the Republicans. Believe me, we're not that tasty.]

If you're not liberal, you can never be family to me!

[For this we are truly thankful.]

the guests at my thanksgiving table. . . extremely diverse. . . . with an overlay of socially awkward gay scientists -- {i swear to god, i'm going to make every one of these guys wear a wig and a ball gown one of these days}

[benburch says: "Can I come? Can I come?"]

there was even 1 older student getting her masters of divinity who gave a very ecumenical, all inclusive grace.

["O To Whom It May Concern, we give thee--or you, plural, or us, maybe, we're not sure--whatever, we give thanks to somebody for lots of good stuff that we probably should feel guilty for, but we like anyway, so we send out white light and good vibes to the Universe, and . . . and . . . what the heck, let's eat!"]

KOmmies Cheer ObamaCare "Success"

This DUFU edition is sure to cause you to slap your foreheads in amazement at the incredible gullibility of the KOmmies in their desperation to look for some, ANY, success in the ObamaCare flop. Yes, it is well known that the ObamaCare website is INSECURE so what do the KOmmies do? They unthinkingly provide their personal information to that site. They might as well send an email with that information to hackers and Nigerian email scammers. So will the first KOmmie to suffer from identity theft apply to the government for a subsidy due to their identity being stolen? In addition to their utter stupidity in freely entering their personal info to an INSECURE website, the KOmmies are so desperate in their search for ObamaCare success that they hype completely meaningless numbers. Hey, KOmmies, there is only ONE statistic that means anything and that is how many PAID for an insurance policy. Everything else is still in looky loo territory. Oh, and btw, you can't pay even if you wanted to because the ObamaCare website still has no payment system set up. You can see the KOmmie descent into complete laughable gullibility at this THREAD, "Obamacare enrollments double in last three weeks." So let us watch the KOmmies provide comedy in the form of ObamaCare hype in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, recommending LIFELOCK (Promo Code: RUSH) to all those DUmb enough to give their personal info to hackers via healthcare.gov, is in the [barackets]:

Obamacare enrollments double in last three weeks

[Big deal. In that same time frame the total number of "enrollments" in Delaware quadrupled from one to four.]

Obamacare could hit some impressive numbers for January 1 enrollments. The administration just announced that it will extend the deadline for new enrollments from December 15 to December 23. That's for policies to be effective as of January 1, though enrollment will be open through March. That, coupled with an enrollment surge in the first two weeks of November means that enrollments at the beginning of the year could be downright respectable.

[An enrollment surge that doubled from ZERO to ZERO total PAID enrollments.]

Enrollments have doubled since the end of October, from 106,000 to more than 200,000. That figure comes from the 14 states that have set up their own exchanges, and will be higher when the federal numbers are added in. Some of those states have experienced their own technological glitches (Oregon is only able to take paper applications at the moment) but the quickened pace of enrollment shows that demand is stronger than frustration over technology.

[All that means is the number of people who will have their IDs stolen by hackers has doubled. The number of PAID enrollments remains at ZERO.]

The California surge is particularly noteworthy, accounting for about a third of the enrollments nationally, and also way ahead of what the state expected to see so early in the process. Likewise, Washington state is seeing huge increases, from 55,000 enrolled at the end of October to 98,000 in the first two weeks of November. Connecticut reports that 14 percent of its projected enrollments are complete. This leads all of the states to expect a huge number of enrollments post-Thanksgiving, as people make their decisions and sign up before the new December 23 deadline for January 1 coverage.

[I checked on the PAID enrollments for CA: ZERO. And I imagine CT is about the same.]

So now the thing Democrats need to start focusing on is shaping a "fix it" message, pointing out that Republicans are still trying to take it away.

[The hackers are all Republicans? The only thing they will take away are the IDs of the gullible. And now on to the other gullible KOmmies...]

They're including Medicaid because it counts as new coverage.

[Pretty much all the stats reflect people signing on to FREE Medicaid. PAID enrollments remain at ZERO.]

I was making the same mistake--yes, it counts overall, but the "7 million" target is for paid-for, private exchange enrollments. That's why I list both of them.

[And that "7 million" remains at "ZERO."]

I'm one of the enrollees. But I'm still waiting for an email from the insurance company I selected. So I'm in some sort of limbo. Do we know how many enrollees have selected an insurance plan but like me are waiting to complete the process?

[Don't worry. You will soon be receiving a confirmation email from Nigeria asking for your payment and bank account information.]

How long ago did you make the selection?

[24 Business Hours ago and I'm still waiting.]

[More than enough time for all your personal info to be downloaded by a low level hacker.]

If you enrolled online and finished ...in that instant, all your information is passed to the insurer in a way that it creates an instant policy. At that point, Healthcare.gov is completely out of the picture. The insurance definitely knows whether or not you are signed up. There is no backlog of stacked up applications. Call the insurance company and confirm that they have your application.

[The insurance company is sure NOT to have it but at least a thousand hackers are right now having a field day with all your personal information.]

I did call them. They had not received my application (gave them all the numbers, App and Case) they told me they had received a "batch" of applications they had not gone through yet. They are supposed to call me back when they figure it out.

[Perhaps a sympathetic hacker can forward all your personal information to the insurance company.]

I've heard from them, pretty quick after signing up. But it's not done until I've paid the first premium, which isn't an option yet. I was trying to arrange a payment method, but they were not willing to set it up yet. They said they'll do a mailout the end of this month, which will include the first bill, at which time I can do the payment arrangements.

[Payment isn't an option yet because the ObamaCare website has NOT even set up a payment system. BTW, don't be too surprised if the payment address on your bill is in Nigeria.]

It aint perfect, but this thing is going to work.

[It would be perfect if not for the fact that all your info will be hacked plus no payment system has even been set up yet.]

They did a mocking skit at the Country Music Awards earlier this month, complete with "ObamaCare by Morning" to the tune of "Amarillo by Morning" (George Strait's hit.) It was particularly aggravating, as it was more inflammatory than awards show shtick normally ventures into, and a lot of peoples' health and well-being rest in the balance.

[A lot more truthful than Obama. At least the skit showed how hard it is to access the website. Kathleen Sebelius tried it a few days ago in Miami but, as usual, the ObamaCare website was DOWN.]

Geometric progression baby.

[Freudenschade, baby.]

I'm so frustrated. I was on the phone with them for an hour today. I typed one number wrong in my husband's social security number, and it will not let me fix it. This has been going on since Thursday of last week. Yes, I tried starting over with a second account. It won't let me log into the the account. I know the password, but it says it is wrong. When I request the email to reset the password, I get the email, click the link, only to get a message that they could not process my request.

[The only thing worse than that would be if you had given them the CORRECT social security number.]

Weren't signups projected at 500K per month? If so, how can these numbers, in any shape or form, represent good news?

[Shhhh!!! Don't spoil the KOmmie party mood!]

I sure would feel better about December 23 if I could log in to healthcare.gov or if it would send me the e-mails it says it's going to send.

[You'll feel even worse if you could log in to healthcare.gov because it means your ID will probably be stolen.]

If you created the account in october. Its highly recommended you create another account after clearing your cookies and your cache.

[And after hackers clear out your bank account.]

One reason for low reported enrollments could be because they aren't counted until the first payment is made.

[A very dim light clicks on in a tiny KOmmie mind.]

I finally got through and selected a plan a few days ago. I was online with a live chat operator at the time, and he volunteered that I didn't have to pay until Dec. 15- coverage wouldn't start until Jan. 1 anyway. I told him, only half joking, that I wanted to improve my state's enrollment figures. Also, my current policy will be canceled 12/31, and I'll feel safer with a new one in hand. He replied that I should "do what I think is best." I thought that was a little odd……and went ahead and paid the first month's premium.

[I would think that a little odd since the ObamaCare website has NO payment system. Did you think it a little odd that the "operator" asked you to PayPal the payment directly to him?]

This is almost become sad. This whole thread is people whooping it up over a really horrible number being doubled, to a less shitty number.

[Even sadder when you consider that the KOmmies are really whooping it up to ZERO paid enrollments being doubled to ZERO paid enrollments. Oh, except for the previous guy who obviously got scammed by an unvetted live chat Operator. Oh, he was an Operator all right.]

Pitt peeved by ObamaCare fix-up!

Will the Shill Pitt, loyal party hack, suddenly has become Will the Shrill Pitt, and boy, is he hacked off! What has got the normally mild-mannered journalist in such a state of upset? Is it a George W. Bush speaking tour? No. Is it finding out the news that Karl Rove was NOT indicted after all? No. Besides, the 24 business hours are not up yet. No, what has got Pitt's panties in a bunch is . . . how badly Team Obama has screwed up this whole health care thing. Pitt is peeved! Witness this THREAD, "God damn it. How the hell do you get blindsided by your own f%$#@*g legislation???"

BTW, the most amazing thing about this thread--besides the idea of Will the Shill throwing a Democrat under the bus--the amazing thing is that the perpetually profane Pitt self-asterisked "f%$#@*g" instead of spelling it out.

So let us now travel to the woods of New Hampshire--yes, New Hampshire, for Hypocrite Pitt has fled Taxachusetts--and check in with the Peeved and Portly Pied Piper as he throws Team Obama under the bus, in Bolshevik Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, wondering how Bukowski's will stay in business now that Pitt has hightailed it out Boston, is in the [brackets]:

God damn it. How the hell do you get blindsided by your own f%$#@*g legislation???

[u mad bro?]

They wrote it. They knew what was in it.

[You assume too much, William. NOBODY knew what actually was in it.]

They knew some policies were going to get cancelled because they did not meet the ACA standards, but are acting like this is all coming as a big shock. Blindsided by their own legislation? For real? Unreal.

[Real. Deal. With it.]

Don't mind the noise. I'm just breaking things.

[Pitt CASTS an empty beer bottle or three into the fireplace!]

[DUmmies reply . . .]

Seems like somebody had their head in the wrong place.

[Call a cranial proctologist. Or is that covered under this plan?]

It's their bill, fa chrissakes.

[And you're our Will, Will!]

Their bill? I thought it was the Heritage Foundation's bill.

[Uh, DUmmie, not one Republican voted for this bill. Look elsewhere.]

The Heritage Foundation did not bring it to Congress. The Heritage Foundation did not campaign on it. Stop being deliberately obtuse. Joe Sh*t the Rag Man could have drafted it originally, but when the president made it the hood ornament for his whole administration, he owned it top to bottom.

[Mr. Pitt has it right. This is BARRY Sh*t the Rag Man's bill!]

the legislation was twisted into this by Republican obstructionists.

[See above: Not one Republican voted for this piece of crap. Back to William . . .]

They HAD to have seen this coming. They knew it was part of the law. THEY WROTE IT. Botch.

[The botch is back. Again.]

it IS the law...How can he just summarily change it by decree? . . . This is a ginormous mess.

[Don't you know, DUmmie, that this is OUR PRESIDENT of whom you speak? He can do ANYTHING! He will fix EVERYTHING! It's not his fault, you know. NOTHING is his fault. He's just an innocent victim here.]

You hate the Aca, fine. You wanted single payer, I did too. But considering how much fighting there was over ACA, the lite, milktaost, keep insurance remedy, do you think America could have even pondered supporting single player on the first try? It would have been killed by the soctus, in which case we would be right back at square one.

[The goal of a Taost is to become one with the Lite. That way, even if a single player is killed by the soctus, it does not matter. You are at piece.]

That reaction of rabid frothing is how we know this legislation' se xecution are a total cluster f***.

[It's not a cluster f***. It's a cluster FIX!]

But that frothing is by those that know this is fubar'ed and a liability to the party until it is fixed.

[It will be the frothing on the cake next November!]

I wish he would not have done this. Those junk plans need to go.

["If you like your junk plan, you can keep your junk plan." --Obamassiah, 11/14/13]

Not all of the canceled plans are *junk*. I'm growing a bit weary of this talking point. Some of the canceled plans were quite good.

[HERETIC!]

Our Monthly premium went up 42%. We were paying $ 1057.53 per month in 2013. We will now be paying $ 1503.19 per month, or an extra $ 5,347.92 per year. Our deductible has more than doubled. We had a complete deductible of $ 6000.00 last year. Our NEW DEDUCTIBLE IS $ 12,700.00 an increase of 111%. Our total out of pocket to be insured AND ACTUALLY USE the plan is now: $12, 047.92 MORE THAN LAST YEAR! for less coverage.

[NO NO NO! STOP IT!! THIS CANNOT BE!!! OBAMACARE FIX EVERYTHING!! LA LA LA!!! I CAN'T HEEEEEAR YOU!!!!!!]

MAN - I hope we do not use our insurance!

[But aren't you grateful you don't have that JUNK plan you had before? THANK you, Lord Obama!! We are not WORTHY!]

Many of the plans canceled were actually pretty good, some like my wife's were great. And most of the replacements on the exchange are more expensive, both in premiums and deductibles. . . . So don't tell me her plan is junk. Do you hear me DU, I DON"T WANT TO HEAR IT. Her plan will be canceled next year because it doesn't meet the standards set in the ACA.

[Earth to DUmmie: You voted for it, you . . . OWN IT!]

We all knew this is what would happen because it needed to happen. Healthy people will have to pay more to more equally share the burden. Single men would have to purchase pregnancy coverage to more equally share the burden. Young people would have to pay more to more equally share the burden. The ENTIRE plan was based on this logic.

[And this DUmmie says this like this is a good thing.]

Now, when a vocal minority are trying to make a political issue of it, our spineless leaders (I am looking at you, Mr. President), are backtracking and undermining the entire plan. This could be the beginning of the end of Obamacare. . . .

[From your lips to Gaia's ears!]

Even on DU, many people don't want to pay more for the good of those poorer than them. There are many DU members who think everyone who makes more than they do should pay more taxes. But if it's suggested that they pay more for the good of those who make less than they do, then it's not fair.

[INCLUDING Pied Piper Pitt, aka High Hypocrite Pitt, who hightailed it out of Taxachusetts to the lily-white, less-taxed woods of New Hampshire.]

It seems that people here on the left who bash the ACA are upset with it because it's not single payer or a public option. Or, because it came from Obama and they don't like him.

[I think those on the left who don't like the ACA, or don't like Obama--they may SAY it's because they want the public option, but I think it's REALLY because . . . they're RACIST! They can't STAND having a black man in the White House!]

Why not Medicare for Everyone. The system is already in place and who doesn't like Medicare?

[Yes! Universal free health care for all!! WHEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!]

question is how to pay for it.... Money doesn't grow on trees....

[Oh. That. Hmmm. . . .]

our weak ass president is PISSING ME OFF!

[RACIST!]

I'd rather people with sh*t plans pay 10x more for new policies...than give the Republicans a win.

[The people who will now be paying 10x more for their policies--come next November, THEY are the ones who will be giving the Republicans a win. Bank it. And THAT is the realization that is giving Mr. Pitt the angst. He knows that this ObamaCare "fix-up" will NOT redound to the glory of the Democrat Partyin 2014. Will the Shill is, and always will be, a loyal party hack, and if that means having to throw Team Obama under the bus, he will do it.]

My insurance is a disaster now.

[This is what you voted for. OWN IT!]

The combination of incompetence and arrogance is really what has turned this into a mess that could have been avoided.

[This is what you voted for. OWN IT!]

"We've got to pass it to see what's in it." Nancy Pelosi

[You passed it. OWN IT!]

There are a lot of people like me whose insurance went from good to bad. That seems to be ignored.

[Not here at DUmmie FUnnies. OWN IT!]

Last week on PBS, a 2x Obama-voting, self-employed woman...was interviewed about how she was getting the shaft. She did NOT have a sh*tty plan.

[But she voted for a sh*tty president. OWN IT!]

The Republicans smell blood in the water now and are circling.

[It's a Sharknado!]

ACA - a bad idea poorly executed.

[You're being generous.]

chill, will.
will will chill?
where is will?
will went

[Will the Shill went to New Hampshire, where he can sit in his rocking chair in the lily-white woods and pay less taxes.]

DUmmies Attack "Big Dog" for Backstabbing Obama on ObamaCare

The DUmmies used to affectionately call Bill Clinton "Big Dog." No longer. Now they are angrily calling him a "Blue Dog" as you can see in the title of this DUmmie THREAD, "Blue Dog Bubba should just SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!" The reason for their anger is that Clinton hilariously stated that Obama should show integrity by honoring his promise that people could keep their health insurance plans. He also suggested that ObamaCare should be "changed." Problem is that if you allow people to keep their plans, then ObamaCare collapses even faster than it already is. The only real fix to ObamaCare is to REPEAL it. Last night, even noted liberal John McCain came out in support of TOTAL REPEAL of ObamaCare. When he delivers an apology to Ted Cruz and Mike Lee is unknown. So let us now watch the DUmmies attack their former hero in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who notes that the Undocumented Democrats bill is now almost as dead this year as ObamaCare, is in the [barackets]:

Blue Dog Bubba should just SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!

[Blue Bog Bubba has suddenly become a pariah in DUmmieland for daring to slightly criticize Blessed Barack.]

If he thinks this rubbish is somehow going to help Hilary gain the White House, forget it. Elizabeth Warren/Bernie Sanders 2016.

[The Left and Lefter ticket for 2016.]

He's in full 'Go Hillary' mode. He'll throw anybody under the bus between now and election day 2016 if he thinks Hillary might have something to gain from it. All that's on his mind is, "how can I use this situation to benefit Hillary?"

[At least he's being altruistic. Thinking of how it helps her, not him.]

This makes no sense though - Hillary is very likely to want the support of the Obama team. Techniques in electioneering change quickly and these are the most experienced Democrats.

[Oh, it makes a lot of sense my clueless little DUmmie.]

I'm pretty baffled why he'd say something as unhelpful as he had which, he should know, will be taken out of context by Corporate Media that are now on a full-out war path with the Obama Administration. Uneffingbelievable.

[Another DUmmie desperately in need of a Get A Clue card.]

I think it's one of those tantrum things he gets. Most likely something didn't go his way (lots of things in the background like the Clinton Foundation investigation, the State Depart one when Hillary was SoS, and who knows what else - maybe he's not getting the promises to support Hillary for Pres. as much as the media is saying) and he lashes out in this way. He seems to specifically attack the President tho. So I really hope, one day when some stories come out, we get to hear how Obama held up against the big bully (I consider the Clintons both bullies) and the big bully cries to the media in this way for revenge.

[And, of course, this had nothing to do with the complete COLLAPSE of ObamaCare.]

Warren/Grayson 2016!

[Left/Looney 2016!]

That f*cker destroyed Haiti, f*cked US workers and f*cked people who needed welfare.

[How about Monica?]

I'm not on the Clinton bandwagon. I don't understand his motivations in trying to undermine the current Dem WH.

[You can't say DUmmie without saying "DUmb."]

ObamaCare Confession Booth

Being a compassionate conservative I have taken pity on all those liberals out there who must feel like FOOLS for supporting ObamaCare especially if their insurance plans have been cancelled and replaced with much higher premiums as happened to that idiot Dylan Ratigan, former MSDNC host. As a way to wash away their incredible feeling of guilt and foolishness for having supported the worst piece of legislation ever, I have suggested the establishment of ObamaCare Confession Booths as you can see in this VIDEO. It is recommended that the liberal supplicants demonstrate their sincerity by wearing DUnce caps while directing their confession to a well-known conservative such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz, etc. and then post the videos of their confessions on YouTube. Do you know liberals who feel like complete idiots for supporting ObamaCare? Then direct them to this video so they might find a way to lift the heavy burden weighing down on their souls.

I also direct you to this other video I have made with my pundit cap on, anticipating a possible uprising tomorrow: Will There Be An Uprising Against the Chavistas In Venezuela On November 9?

Finally, the strange case of my Junior High School Spanish teacher who actually moved to Cuba to become a Fidelista and then found herself in jail: PJ's Spanish Teacher Jailed In Cuba Due To Her Own Stupidity

Oh, and please don't panic. The regular DUFUs will resume soon. Please forgive me for "boring" you with these videos.

"CMA (Country Music) Awards Just Made Fun Of Obamacare In Their Opening Number....."

Sniff! DUmmie feelings were hurt because ObamaCare was musically (and hilariously) mocked at the Country Music Awards as this VIDEO shows. You can see their outrage on this DUmmie THREAD, "CMA (Country Music) Awards Just Made Fun Of Obamacare In Their Opening Number....." Yes, Obama MUST NOT be mocked even when he LIES and ends up with a legislative debacle that just does not work. So let us now watch the DUmmies roar their outrage over CMA ObamaCare mockery in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering when the Democrats will have their CYA ceremony, is in the [barackets]:

CMA (Country Music) Awards Just Made Fun Of Obamacare In Their Opening Number..... this is really in poor taste and uncalled for. They ought to issue an apology to the President. It wasn't funny at all.

[CMA will issue an apology to Obama right after Obama issues an apology to the country for LYING.]

well, when the Dixie Chicks made their comments were you demanding that they apologize? many here were not...

[Good point my soon to be tombstoned DUmmie.]

The Dixie Chicks made fun of the president. These two made fun of a website. I don't agree with it, but there is a difference.

[Even making fun of a website is forbidden if it approved by The One.]

Sorry, i love country music but I don't watch the CMA and I don't like the politics of some of the country performers but i still love the music. I don't buy it, but i listen to it on the radio and Pandora. Clint Black and Darius Rucker are among my favorites.

[I can't say I'm much of a Country Music fan either BUT I am a HUGE fan of Patsy Cline. She transcends the style. In fact I have a Patsy Cline radio station on my iheartradio.]

and they mentioned that only 6 people signed up the first day.

[What a ridiculous LIE! Oops! It was TRUE!]

I am finding it hard to get worked up about this. As far as it being in poor taste, or apologies being owed, get a grip. It was actually pretty mild teasing; making fun of a government program. As far as I could see, they didn't get personal toward President Obama, or racist or really offensive, so I won't let this upset me. I do not and will not own any Brad Paisley or Carrie Underwood music. But neither do I own any Dixie Chicks stuff. But, that is simply because I am not a fan of what passes as "country" music these days. It pretty much degenerated into "pop lite" decades ago. I am sure that many of my friends here on DU who are angry about this spoof were happy when one of the Dixie Chicks insulted President Bush. I suppose it depends on whose ox is being gored. Making fun of politicians and their work is one of the rights we enjoy as Americans. Also, life is too short to spend it pissed off.

"Obama Defends 'Keep Your Plan' Claim"

Even the DUmmies KNOW Obama lied to them about ObamaCare. Some DUmmies are angry about this and others think the ends justify the lying means as you can see in this THREAD, "Obama Defends 'Keep Your Plan' Claim." Sorry, DUmmies, but this scandal won't go away. This is a scandal that hits HOME for people. ObamaCare is now causing millions of people to LOSE their health insurance. So much for Obama's LIE. So let us now watch the DUmmies nervously analyze Obama's LIE in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering how Obama is going to face the teleprompters during his SOTU, is in the [barackets]:

Obama Defends 'Keep Your Plan' Claim

[He claims we didn't hear the numerous caveats mumbled under his breath.]

Amid a troubled rollout for his signature legislative achievement, President Barack Obama on Monday defended both the Affordable Care Act and a previous pledge he made in selling the law to the American public.

l [He should blame Republicans like a lot of liberals already are.]

During a speech before volunteers for Organizing for Action, the President acknowledged that he's been bothered by the rollout, particularly the problems surrounding the website HealthCare.gov.

[Bothered enough to indulge in heavy drinking binges again...or perhaps chooming?]

"Obviously we've been very frustrated, I personally have been very frustrated, with the problems around the website and healthcare," Obama said, according to a White House pool report. "

[The inevitable result when you award the grossly overpriced web project to cronies who thought they could pull it off on the cheap with 10 year old obsolete software.]

"It's inexcusable and there are a whole range of things we're going to need to do once we get this fixed, to talk about federal procurement when it comes to IT and how that's organized. But the model of providing health insurance for all Americans and using not just what government can do but also private sector competition and choice, that model's working."

[Yet another lie...and now on to the other DUmmies...]

What a joke. People are losing their plans. Get a clue, Obama.

[And you might be losing your DUmmieland membership.]

[Challenged the DUmmie.]

Obama administration knew millions could not keep their health insurance But millions of Americans are getting or are about to get cancellation letters for their health insurance under Obamacare, say experts, and the Obama administration has known that for at least three years. Four sources deeply involved in the Affordable Care Act tell NBC News that 50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers who buy their insurance individually can expect to receive a “cancellation” letter or the equivalent over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law. One expert predicts that number could reach as high as 80 percent. And all say that many of those forced to buy pricier new policies will experience “sticker shock.”

[Replied the Kewpie Doll DUmmie as he provided the requested links.]

If people really thought Obama was promising that every single insurance plan in existence at any point would remain in existence for time eternal, they're a little foolish.

[Rationalized another DUmmie.]

Obama said if you like your plan you can keep it. That was a false statement. He lied.

[Is that you, Joe Wilson?]

Some people just can't deal with it. He did not tell he truth in order to get it passed. I'm glad he did, but a saint he is not.

[You want the truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!]

I work for a major university in Missouri employing thousands of people. The United HealthCare Choice Plus plan is going from around $300 a month for employee plus spouse to around $600 a month. There's no special coverage or circumstances, we are not self employed, just a giant price hike.

[AFFORDABLE Care Act? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!]

His revision during his speech yesterday is ridiculous. He intentionally did not say that all those times before. There are dozens of clips of him saying it over and over. He should have known better. I expect that from my president.

[Would you like a hankie while you cwy tears of disappointment?]

Obama Informed only 6 ObamaCare Signups on First Day

How many of you would have loved to have been a fly on the wall a few weeks ago when Obama was informed that only SIX people signed up for ObamaCare on the first day of its roll out? Well, good news! This VIDEO recreates exactly what happened when Obama was given the bad news. A bonus is that I reveal an incredible scoop: the names of the six people who did sign up that first day. Also Ted Cruz makes a cameo appearance in Obama's mind.

The next video I made based on today's newspaper was about the history of coffee. I know this will "bore" you so please don't watch the MOMENT that Pope Clement VII, the "Coffee Pope," saved the sanity of Western civilization by sanctioning the use of coffee. Had the "Coffee Pope" not acted the way he did, today coffee would have been illegal and marijuana would have been perfectly legal.

Finally, I TACKLE the delicate subject of euthanasia in the highly sensitive manner for which I am known.
