"Wise Up and Rise Up – or Kiss It All Goodbye"

"It's bad enough that we face the end of America, sadly, we also face the end of humanity." So warns KOmmie One Pissed Off Liberal in this ominous THREAD, "Wise Up and Rise Up – or Kiss It All Goodbye". To say this diary struck a chord among the KOmmies would be an understatement--over 600 KOmments in less than 24 hours! So let's see why THE SKY IS FALLING AND WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!, in Bolshevik Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, wondering what the winning bid on BEARak Obama will be when the eBay auction ends in just a short time (at 18:00:00 PDT), is in the [brackets]:

Wise Up and Rise Up – or Kiss It All Goodbye

[I guess we better WISE UP AND RISE UP--NOW!!]

It's bad enough that we face the end of America, sadly, we also face the end of humanity.

[THE END OF HUMANITY--UNLESS WE RISE UP NOW!!!]

Only over the past 8 years has it become so shockingly obvious just how blatant is the case against the existence of American democracy. It came to a head, in my view, with "Impeachment is off the table."

[One Pissed Off Liberal is off his meds.]

That betrayal was the ultimate selling out of the American people – and this at the hands of the democratic leadership. . . . The American people have been sold down the river by these crooks. . . . Pelosi has made it clear, the American people and the values they hold (such as justice and government of, by and for the people) no longer matter.

[D*MN you, Pelosi!!]

We once had dreams.

[Now we have nightmares.]

Will a President Obama and a solid democratic majority make a difference? Yes – but don’t be surprised if it is far less difference that you may be expecting.

[President Obama will let us down, just like Pelosi, the Clintons, and Edwards.]

My guess is that they will treat us pretty much just as Pelosi has (and just as Obama has with FISA) – with a velvet ‘f*ck you’ delivered with a huge disingenuous smile. . . .

[Acquiesce Velvet®.]

It’s enough to make you wonder if another world is even possible.

[It's not. Give up.]

"What is wrong with us? Where is our passionate intensity?" ~ Naomi Klein

["You're KOmmies. It's in your irrational density." ~ Charles Henrickson]

"We are missing movement power." ~ Naomi Klein

["You are missing marbles." ~ Charles Henrickson]

How is it that we have failed to coalesce our collective outrage into an effective movement?

[You need more roughage.]

We need everyone to be prepared to hit the streets. . . .

[TO THE STREETS! PERSON THE BARRICADES! THE REVOLUTION BEGINS TODAY!!!]

this is about the fate of humankind.

[The fate of personkind DEPENDS ON US!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

America has been stolen from us – and this is NOT a figure of speech.

[The oceans are meeting in the vacated spot!]

We will all lose. Everything.

[Don't get too specific now, One Pissed Off Liberal. Don't say how or why. Don't supply any evidence. Just leave it at, "We will all lose. Everything."]

We must get our priorities straight and we must do so in a mighty hurry.

[Hurry! Don't stop to think!]

We must stand up every time we have the chance, for everything that is right and against oppression and injustice. Speak out, rise up - do not sit silently as injustices bloom all around you.

[Speak truth to power!]

But confrontation can be so rude. Yes – but some things (like liberty and the fate of our species) are more important than good manners. . . . There is finally a place for rudeness.

[One could say it is your guys's métier.]

I’ve heard many a good progressive put down Code Pink because they offend their sense of decorum. But people, this is serious. This is no time to be quiet and respectful. . . . Code Pink are noisy, rude and clownish . . .

[Don't forget "ineffective."]

. . . but they get peoples’ attention.

[So does that Naked Cowboy guy. Big deal.]

Kossacks on the march, standing up for America - we need more of this, not less.

[We need . . . A MILLION MOONBAT MARCH!!!]

It’s time we all stand up for what we believe and take every opportunity to speak truth to power. . . .

[Hey, you actually said it! Thanx for validating the stereotype!]

The disgraceful Pelosi ass-kissing festival I witnessed at Netroots Nation alarmed me. . . .

[Mistress Nancy used her Whip and made you obey.]

If kissing the ass of power is what the netroots have come to – it has come to naught.

["Kissing the Ass of Power": KOmmieland's new motto.]

It is time to stand up for America – not sit down or rollover.

[Beg! Play dead!]

Peace out! OPOL

[Wacked-out! OPOL! Now let's sample a FEW of the OVER 600 KOmmie KOmments . . .]

The ass kissing at netroots nation was a symptom of a larger problem. People here look up to authority and are looking for a hero.

[Hero Kissimus.]

Your brothers and sisters are scraping out a living, so worn down, so tired, so jaded and fearful of one paycheck from the street, that they don't have one damn minute to spare for 'taking it to the streets' and fighting the good fight, like we did in 1970's. And that, my friends is exactly the way THE MAN planned it to be. . . . Right on OPOL, you got it all in there.

[Right on, right on! We must take it to the streets FOR our brothers and sisters! Don't let THE MAN hold us down!]

Nancy Pelosi should be impeached along with Bush and Cheney.

["Impeached"?? Hah! Try "executed"! To The Hague with the lot of 'em!]

THE MAN has his plan, and his plan is working just fine, thank you very much.

[THE MAN, A PLAN, A CABAL--PARANOIA!]

The PNAC global domination group has been building control for some time.

[THE MAN, A PLAN, A CABAL--PNAC!]

I keep swinging back and forth between hope and despair.

[Stay with despair.]

Our present candidates are merely promising a nuanced variation on the same failed theme. The Democrats were given a mandate in 2006 to bring about some real changes but many, including the leadership (e.g. Pelosi, Hoyer and Reid) have proven themselves to be not much better better than the neocons.

[Nuancy Pelosi.]

It was just as upsetting to see Larry King throw softball questions at her. He even asked her a few questions about John Edwards. . . .

[Don't tell me Edwards had an affair with PELOSI?!]

Hopefully we will have more room to organize after Obama wins. The way I see it is: let's elect him, and then let's push and protest him.

[IMPEACH OBAMA NOW!]

F*ck being nice and respectful. . . . No more Mr. Nice Guy.

[Let's alienate EVERYBODY!]

The problem with your message is that almost nobody wants to hear it. It's uncomfortable, unpleasant, scary even. The reality is that as long as people can retreat to their homes, pop open a cold one, grab the remote for some propaganda, we won't have the massive numbers needed to effect change. People by and large have grown lazy, disengaged and self-f*cking-absorbed, and couldn't f*cking care less as long as their little corner of the world isn't flooded, burning, under attack etc.

[So if we're not under attack . . . and we have a home we can retreat to . . . and we have the time and the money and the freedom to pop open a cold one . . . tell me again, WHY should we be rushing to the street to start a revolution??]

Maybe i'm in the wrong mood, but i just don't get this. Rise up? Like, with shotguns and stuff? The coming police state?

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!]

I can't get past the disconnect of metaphorically kicking ass through civil disobedience.

[It's just a metaphorical kicking ass. No real asses will be hurt during the filming of this kicking.]

I am secure in my job (for now), have health insurance (for now), my house is worth far more than I paid for it 15 years ago (for now). I just got wireless internet and expanded cable (to get more of the propaganda).

[THE MAN is keeping you down!]

They know what drives the primitive portions of our brains.. seek salt.. seek sugar.. seek fat...

[Seek professional help.]

LOL!!! This turd runs the whole moonbat cliche gambit here..Impeachment, take to the streets, the sky is falling, war crimminals to the Hague, Troof to power, DUAC DUAC, and the old school; da man is keeping us down. It sounds like Chong on a bad trip. The libtard either needs to get off the drugs or back on the meds. The reason there is no revolution yet, is most people aren't miserable moonbats. This country rocks. Where else can you come home from work crack a cold one, spark a splif, and laugh at these tards??

With these idiots, there's a market for selling chunks of falling sky on E-bay for 10$ (You're just 10$ away from owning a peice of doom) Act now before sanity returns!!

Random thought: If there was really a Moonbat March on the Capital in Washington; how many of these morons wind up in Olympia,WA??

skully,

Absolutely correct, "Pissed off Liberal" tossed in every cliche in the progressive lexicon: the man, truth to power, the corporate media, impeachment, "raping our country", "super wealthy overlords", "tyranny and struggle", "a velvet 'fuck you'" and, worst of all, "a monstrous confluence of catastrophes". It's moonbat apocalypse, we're all gonna die! Only Obama can save us!!!

Rise up? The kos clowns first have to rise out of their chairs, kick the empty pizza boxes out ot the way, and climb out of their basements. And keep away from the fridge!

BTW, after reading that rant, I think Pissed off Liberal has a crush on Naomi Klein. Just look at that big, close up picture of her, Pissed off's in love...unrequited love.

LOL. Right on, bro! And I mean it. It's exactly why I come here so often. Insanely entertaining. Especially after a beer or two, and a twisted sausage. Um...maybe we shouldn't talk about this anymore, dude.

"and, worst of all, "a monstrous confluence of catastrophes" elrond

Hmmm. Would anyone like me to list the "...monstrous confluence of catastrophes" that have happened in the last 8 years or so? I can do that. Really. I can. So can you. Ask away, elrond.

Aww, what's the matter, trog? Those broken dreams of a non-existent New Revolution getting you down again? Don't worry, be happy, for satisfaction is just another beer away.

"We must stand up every time we have the chance, for everything that is right and against oppression and injustice."

It's funny you mention this, because that's just what Bush is doing in Iraq and Afghanistan and you call him a war criminal for it. I guess that liberty is something only Americans should have, eh?

Amazing how these people TALK about values such as the following lip service:

"American people and the values they hold (such as justice and government of, by and for the people)"

But yet I bet you they are the LAST to actually vote or participate in any function of their local Govt. No doubt they're out at a save the rainforest type of rally etc.

Further:

"We must stand up every time we have the chance, for everything that is right and against oppression and injustice. Speak out, rise up - do not sit silently as injustices bloom all around you."

Why were they NOT standing up against the 'oppression and injustice' let alone rape and murder that Sadaam was doing to his own people?

How about the so called U.N. peacekeepers in the Congo? Myramar? Sudan? What about Mugabe, CHina, Cuba, N. Korea, or the virtual and ongoing enslavement of the palestinians by their so-called arab brothers?

Where is their anger and altruisim when Chavez quite literally turns a once prospering country into yet another socialist economic backwater?

Even closer to home, exactly WHICH rights have they been deprived of? The last time I checked, I'm still free. The ONLY rights that have been infringed upon in my view, are those that the LEFT have trampled on and attempt to do so continuiously.

You also here this all the time from these folks:

"It’s time we all stand up for what we believe and take every opportunity to speak truth to power. . . ."

But yet they are completely incapable of communicating what it is that they believe in!!

Ask them sometime and see what they're response is. Nothing but a BUNCH of mumbo-jumbo B/S..

I LOVE this one:

"Your brothers and sisters are scraping out a living, so worn down, so tired, so jaded and fearful of one paycheck from the street, that they don't have one damn minute to spare for 'taking it to the streets' and fighting the good fight, like we did in 1970's. And that, my friends is exactly the way THE MAN planned it to be."

Like they did in the '70s? What exactly is this idiot talking about? By the time the '70s rolled around the anti-war movement was already coming apart. The last major demonstration in Wash. D.C. took place in '71 and by '75 the war was over and there were virtually zero major demonstrations anywhere.

Scraping by? SCRAPING BY? I'd rather be 'scraping by' in America then anywhere else my friends. At least here, even WITH all the leftist B/S we still have opportunity and the ability to make a life for ourselves and our familes..

What a bunch of typical leftist B/S!

They never actually say anything.

Their rhetoric is just as empty as Obie's suit. Perhaps that's the point. They can fill the gaping and indeterminate holes with their own pet gripes and grievances...and feel all warm, fuzzy and "validated".

And that's why they love all their potential leaders, and none of their actual leaders. Actual leaders do and say actual things...which, to the relentless horror and surprise of the Moonbats living in their own personal echo-chambers, rarely comport with their individual, idiosyncratic utopian fantasies.

Is there a single Democratic savior—who actually acquired power— whom the true believers have not turned on, labeled a traitor and rent limb from limb?

Who owns more houses? Obama or Johnny Maverick.

Who committed adultry? Obama or the little Maverick Johnny.

Who's been divorced? Obama or the Little Johnny Maverick.

Let's talk elite, mr galt.

Johnny was poking a millionaire while his wife and mother of his children was in the hospital recovering from a debilitating car wreck. He chose the hospital to deliver his "Dear Little Johnny".

"What in the HELL are you talking about?"

What, you never heard of Symbionese Liberation Army? I remember them from my grade school days. I suggest you look it up. How about the Weather Underground, also know as the Weatherman? Ever hear of them? I remember them too. Information on them is just one google click away. You should try it sometime. These New Revolutionaries were symptomatic of the extreme left wing of their day.

When it comes to calls of revolution, I think John Lenon said it best:

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be all right

You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be all right

Tell me, wise and insightful Trog, who did that song refer when it was written and who would it refer to today? Here's a hint, replace that picture of Mao with Che Guevara and add the banner: "Wise Up and Rise Up – or Kiss It All Goodbye."

t-man, your chronology and your innuendo are lame.

Johnny doesn't have the money or the houses, red-hot Cindy does and a dime to a dollar says there's a pre-nuptial. Syrian and Iraqi Baathists (Rezko, Auichi) didn't buy any of Cindie's houses for her or get her a cushy half-mil/yr job with the University Hospital system either. I doubt there'll be another McCain divorce, though.

McCain's 1st wife didn't seem to have any bitterness about the divorce. Who's to say which of them had outside entanglements first? After all, Johnny was "tied up" for about 5 years before the wreck.

Yeah. It was all her fault.

Face it. McCain fucked around. And Cindy stole pain killers. Do any of you jerkasses think if either Mr. or Mrs. Obama had done the same thing they wouldn't have been drawn and quartered by now? And yet you shitheads are just fine with the fact McCain fucked around, delivered his Dear John speech to his hospitalized and disabled wife, and ended up marrying someone with a certifiable drug problem who happened to be hot and worth millions. And that's all fine with you hypocrite jackasses. In case you haven't realized it yet, you're all clueless monkeys.

Good question. I don't happen to care. You do. That's why playing the fidelity card and going for the moral high ground is a stupid, baldly hypocritical mistake. McCain's a train wreck. Obama isn't. Why you all continue to pretend you have the moral high ground about anything has become the stuff of comics.

Obama is an empty suit who can't speak a coherent sentence without a teleprompter but the MSM won't admit it nor will saps like you. Pretending this guy is anything but an joke is self-delusion.

Anyway, come January, we'll see either Captain Whacky or Jughead take the oath of office.
