DUAC Earl leads DUmmie "Brainstorm"
The DUmmie Slacktivist Corpse is ON THE MOVE! Head DUACo (and British citizen) Dave "EarlG" Allsopp is leading a weekly "Brainstorm" to get ideas for upcoming DUACtions. But before we see the underwhelming response, let's sing a salute to DUAC Earl:
DUAC EARL
Tune: "Duke of Earl"
DU, DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
As I, I renew this world
Nothing can stop the DUAC Earl
And you, you are my nuts
And I am your squirrel, oh yeah
Yes, I, oh, I'm gonna lead you, oh, oh
Come on let me mold you, DUmmies
'Cause I'm the DUAC Earl
So, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
And, and when I hold you
You'll be my puppets, puppets of Earl
You'll do all my DUACtions
And in DUmmieland we will share
Yes, I, oh, I'm gonna lead you, oh, oh
Nothing can stop me now
'Cause I'm the DUAC Earl
So, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
DU, DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
Yes, I, oh, I'm gonna lead you, oh, oh
Nothing can stop me now
'Cause I'm the DUAC Earl
So, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
DU, DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl
DU, DU, DUAC Earl . . .
Now for the "Brainstorm." BTW, if a brainstorm breaks out in DUmmieland, and there are no brains around to do the storming, does it make much of a sound? Apparently not, as witnessed in this THREAD, "The Thursday Brainstorm: we need your ideas for next week's Activist Corps action."
So break out your bumbershoots, the DUACos are having a brainstorm! The DUmmie droplets are in Bolshevik Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, on vacation this week in sunny and pleasant Door County, Wisconsin, is in the [brackets]:
The Thursday Brainstorm: we need your ideas for next week's Activist Corps action
[DUAC Earl sounds the call: "DUAC! DUAC!"]
Looks like Tuesday's action was another success. . . .
[A few DUmmies e-mail Howard Dean, alerting him that Republicans may try to stop ineligible DEMOCRATS from committing voter fraud--and this is your "success"??]
1) Actions need to be something that members can do individually, without having to travel.
[No sacrifice or commitment allowed!]
2) Actions don't need to be big things.
[Or effective things!]
3) Actions should be related to the presidential election, or to the congressional elections in general.
[DUAC Earl, Master of the Obvious.]
4) Actions should be able to be completed in a timely fashion.
[For example, be sure to vote on November FIFTH, not November 6th.]
5) We aren't going to run any actions targeting Democrats.
[Aw, darn! Given the increasing disappointment over Backflip Barry, you could run a real good DUACtion against HIM!]
we definitely have room for improvement in terms of the number of people participating.
[Democratic Understatement. A handful of DUmmies sending out spam e-mails is just NOT going to cut it. Now in response to DUAC Earl's plea for participation, there follows a whopping total of 22 drops of Brainstorm precipitation . . .]
What about reaching out to people where Democrats may pick up seats this year? . . . This may be too general. . . .
[Thank you, DUmmie sfexpat2000, for that marvelous plan of action!]
Deleted message. Message removed by moderator.
[But I thought no idea was excluded in a brainstorm!]
We need a short, strong soundbite response to the "Surge Success" question. . . .
[Barack's "Uh" is short, but I don't know how strong it is.]
"Both ways Barack": the new attack seems to be that Obama takes both sides of every issue.
[I call him "Backflip Barry," sfexpat2000.]
I'd love to bombard Pelosi's office with proven crimes committed by Bush. . . .
[And I'd like to build a $400,000 waterfront summer home here in Door County, Wisconsin, but that's just about as realistic.]
Since she said on The View she would impeach if she had anything provable. . . .
[Key word, "if."]
We could counter the cr@P! that the election is close.
[If Barry keeps losing ground, it WON'T be close!]
There has to be a way to push back on this meme which sets up youknowwhat in November.
[When sfexpat2000 says "youknowwhat," she means ANOTHER STOLEN ELECTION! Yes, counter that "close" meme, sfexpat2000! DU IT FOR ANDY!!!]
How about we ask Congress to do something to call these criminals to account starting with Rove?
[Inherent Contempt! Frogmarch! Fitzmas! To The Hague! DUAC! DUAC!]
Mass Email the media regarding their "elitist, presumptious" talking point. . . .
[Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam. . . .]
Is this related to the "arrogant" talking point?
[Yes, sfexpat2000, yes it is. And btw, you're taking up about half of these 22 replies all by your lonesome!]
Rove is in contempt of Congress while he heads McWar's campaign and calls Obama arrogant. There's something that can be used there but my brain won't give it to me.
[I see the smoke coming out of your ears, sfexpat2000. Better sit down and rest for a while.]
This could be an opportunity to take it directly to the pig boy. What are his strengths in this situation? That he isn't front and center? That's he's a "genius"? That's he's protected by Fox and by Bush? Let's attack THAT.
[Your puny DUAC "Brainstorm" is no match for a Perfect ROVIAN Storm!]
what about coming up with something for the Katrina anniversary?
[Is that you, Brian Williams?]
What could we do?
[Whine. Cry. You know, the usual.]
Suggestion 1: compare and contrast.
[Yes, do. For example, let's talk about how the citizens of Iowa managed to deal with the flooding in THEIR area, in contrast to the government-addicted whiners in New Orleans.]
Wow, I didn't realize how much there was to this! I hope this makes sense. I expect the ideas to be added to, altered and maybe even dropped. . . .
[Expect them to be dropped.]
Hmm. What about using Katrina as a metaphor. . . . I have to walk the puppy, but I'll be back.
[How about using "walk the puppy" as a metaphor, sfexpat2000? DUAC Earl wants DUACtion, and you're out "walking the puppy"!]

Wow, what an incredible array of fresh, new ideas! E-mail the media telling them not to say bad things about Democratic nominee, e-mail the Democrats telling them to impeach Bushitler, and some other vague idea about spinning New Orleans local government inadequacy into a searing critique of how Bush and the Rethugs hate black people, then presenting it to someone, somewhere, somehow..
The Brain Trust is really on fire. With such an arsenal of political tools at their disposal it's inconceivable that the election could be anything but a win for Obamessiah. Any other result means the Rethugs have stolen the election (AGAIN!!11!) so may as well start in on figuring out how they did that. Oh wait, that was yesterday's DUFU.. Lolz
Walk the puppy?!! What a PERFECT metaphor! :) -tm
A liberal brainstorm is more like spanking the monkey.
"I'd love to bombard Pelosi's office..."
Now there's an worthy idea! I recommend 750lb., laser guided bombs.
But how sad, these DUmmies are truly clueless. They remain obsessed with Bushler and KKKarl Rove but they have no idea what to do about them...or anything else for that matter.
Maybe Mom and Dad can give them some ideas.
"I have to walk the puppy, but I'll be back."
So THAT'S what they're calling it these days.
"I have to walk the puppy, but I'll be back."
Choke the chicken would be more like it
This whole thread sounds like a meeting of High School Sophopmores for Obama.
I think they should run with the "email the media" campaign. That sounds revolutionary.
"Walk the Puppy." Could be 2008's "Jump the Shark."
I have to walk the puppy.
This is a good excuse for ducking out of a conversation when you realize it's going nowhere.
