Penn & Teller Take On Environmentalist Hysteria

This is absolutely a must-see VIDEO from a Penn & Teller BULLSHIT! show. Penn & Teller beautifully expose what a complete bunch of idiots these Global Warming Alarmists are. I found out about this show from a terrific BLOG at NewsBusters. Also be sure to check out the videos for PART 2 and PART 3. The FUnniest parts are how the dopes were easily conned into signing petitions to ban DiHydrogen Monoxide (water) and various clips of the spokesperson for the Rainforest Action Network, Kate, whose comments make you seriously wonder how she can talk and breath at the same time.

I really enjoy this website. It delivers some of the best satire.

This movement by the environMENTALists is nothing new, however, P&T did it right. The petition on banning water was a gas! They hit the nail right on the head on how stupid these sheep are in trying to push some worthless agenda.

As for the gentlemen who started greenpeace, only to leave in disgust. I do respect him and his point. Obviously, if he were to start a more conservationalist movement, I think he would be floored to see how many people would work with him. He also nailed the point on the types of people who are in this movement. Most of these people are worthless do-nothings with flimsy to no real education and are sponges off of others, or live in their parents basements.

Great site!

Gaia is not happy with Penn & Teller. But after the Obamessiah is elected, the Oceans will slow their rise, the Earth will heal and Penn & Teller will be jailed for thought crimes against Nature.

The Dihydrogen Monoxide routine never gets old. It's scary to think how many people can be swayed by scary-sounding chemical jargon. For a real laugh, try refering to it as "hydroxyl acid", or tell someone you have a thermos full of boiling nitrogen (i.e. empty/air) and "accidentally" spill it on them.

You know why you're scary, psychobenzaprine? Because you don't explain dihydrogen monoxides and hydroxyl acids.

Wait. I get it. Dihydrogen monoxides mixed with hydroxyl acids end up being psychobenzaprines. Nice job. Ironic.

I've got a tip for you if you're interested in following up on it.

Truthout raises more than two million dollars a year. Marc Ash pays himself $200,000 a year and refuses to disclose the IRS reports even though they are supposed to be public since they are a nonprofit.

Ash's board of directors consist of his sister and another relative.

Scott Galindez, truthout's managing editor, makes more than $70,000 a year but has been sidelined for the past year because he was caught plagiarizing a story about Obama from CNN.

Marc Ash has been sued time and again by employees for wrongful dismissal. He fired one woman who worked for the company whose job was to collect the donation checks because she was "too old." She sued him and that case is still pending in California court.

Truthout reprints stories from other media and when there is a threat of a lawsuit by said media they stop and do it again when the attention dies down.

What do you think Truthout's readers would do if they knew all of this malfeasance was going on behind the scenes? They wouldn't be so quick to give money. I hope you follow up on this because this is the biggest snake oil story in the media right now.

Trust me.

"Trogs, are you actually as scientifically illeterate as that post makes you sound?" dumbass

I can spell illiterate. Does that count? But to answer your question, dumbass, I thought I summarized 'psychobenzaprine' rather well.

But let's get down to the nuts and bolts. What does "The Dihydrogen Monoxide routine never gets old" mean to you? Spell it out.
