DUmmies Cheer Hugo Chavez For Calling Bush The Devil At The UN

Hugo Chavez, in typically bad form, got up before the General Assembly at the United Nations and called President Bush the devil. Some of the UN lUNatics applauded him and so did the DUmmies as you can see in this THREAD titled, "'Bush is the devil' (Chavez)." Is it really any surprise that the DUmmies cheered the Chavez anti-Bush, anti-American rant? Such rants are commonplace in DUmmieland. And a fringe benefit is that Noam Chomsky got a plug in for his anti-Bush, anti-American book when Hugo held it up during his speech. Perhaps there should be a Hugo award for the most anti-American book of the year. Ooops! There is already a Hugo award for the best science fiction book so maybe we should call it the Chavez award. So let us now watch the DUmmies cheer on Hugo Chavez as the leader most resembling Fidel Castro in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if Hugo drives a Yugo, is in the [brackets]:

Chavez gave a fantastic straight to the point speech, that told it just like it is... The imperialism of the US is going to destroy the world, if not stopped. The UN is a place of diplomacy. It's supposed to be a place of peace. How does calling someone the devil fit in with that? It doesn't matter if you believe Bush is the devil, devil incarnate, a dirt devil, or Satan himself. It's just not appropriate for a place like the UN.

And I observe that Hugo's use of rashness, while once refreshing, is becoming old and he's descending from being a leader to be respected into a raving loon.
