DUmmies SLAM Patrick Fitzgerald

Remember all the DUmmie adultation for Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald? They looked upon Fitz as their savior who would frogwalk Karl Rove across the White House lawn and bring down the EVIL Bush Regime. He was their knight in shining armor of impeccable integrity. DUmmie woman gushed over Fitz and even wanted to bear his children. Well, all that has changed over the course of the past day when it was announced that there will be NO Fitzmas since Fitzgerald WON'T be indicting Karl Rove. As a result, the opposite opinion of Fitzgerald has formed in DUmmieland to the point that he is being SLAMMED there for possibly making some sort of underhanded dirty deal with the Mighty Rove as you can see in this THREAD titled, "Jonathan Turley: Fitz gave Rove assistance in clearing up misstatements." So let us now watch the DUmmies slam their tarnished star who stole Fitzmas from them in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, still waiting for WILLIAM RIVERS PITT to sober up enough to apologize for his MAJOR part in perpetrating the Hoaxmas myth, is in the [brackets]:

"I've never seen, frankly, someone involved in an investigation of this kind given so many chances to continually correct and amend prior testimony. There are many prosecutors who would have indicted Rove on his first statement," George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley told CBS. "He was given a great deal of deference and quite frankly, assistance, by the prosecutor."

I tend to agree with what Turley said Scooter didn't get this kind of treatment. Scooter testified twice early in the investigation (like Rove) and was never called back again. Rove, however, was called back three times after his first two appearances before the grand jury.

[Scooter was just a temporary sacrificial lamb to keep the liberals from noticing that there was no real Fitzmas last October when the lame charges came in against only ONE person. But not to worry. It's all been fixed that the dopey charges against Libby will be thrown out of court. No Fitzmas but you can still hope for the arrival of the Great Pumpkin.]

I think the salient point in this, like all other issues these days, is that the GOP has all the angles covered. They control all the media, all the judges, all the lawyers, all the lawmakers, all the police, sherriffs, FBI, CIA, etc. There's no one on our side in any of these battles. There is no one we can turn to to keep Whitewell from fixing elections in OH. There's no one we can turn to to get someone, ANYONE, prosecuted for leaking Valerie Plame's identity to the press. We're completely devoid of options for redress of grievances.
