DUmmie FUnnies 01-06-06 ("Where is Fitzgerald? No Fitzmas after all that?")

It looks like the DUmmies did NOT have a Merry Fitzmas. However, this is just par for the course for the DUmmies. They NEVER have a "Merry Fitzmas" in a whole myriad of schemes that they hope beyond hope will bring down the Evil Bush Regime. There was NO Merry Fitzmas over the Jeff Gannon "scandal," NO Merry Fitzmas over the Downing Street Memos, there was NO Merry Fitzmas over the September Anti-Bush Rally (note: Pied Piper Pitt maintained his purity of essence there by never EVER talking to any member of A.N.S.W.E.R. at ANY time, EVER) and there wasn't even a Merry Fitzmas when Fitzgerald delivered his report on October 28. In the latter "Fitzmas," according to the DUmmies and drooling cheerleader, Chris Matthews, Fitzgerald was to deliver indictments of around 27 high level Bush officials (including Cheney and Rove), thus crippling his Administration. Instead we got one LAME indictment of Scooter Libby. And was the indictment for revealing the name of Valerie Plame as a CIA agent? No. Since Plame was NOT a covert agent, there was NO crime to begin with so NO charges against anybody were brought. Instead, the only indictment inspired by this non-crime was against Scooter Libby for not giving an accurate account of his memory about Valerie Plame. Unfortunately for Libby, he does not possess the superhuman memory of Pied Piper Pitt who can effortlessly recite long blocks of word for word quotes from conversations that took place earlier. Of course, in the long run, Libby will be found NOT GUILTY due to the very difficulty of anyone (other than Pitt) able to perfectly recall conversation details from the past. Disappointed as the DUmmies (and Chris Matthews) were by the lame charges against just one person, they still held up the hope that Fitzgerald would give them a Merry Fitzmas by bringing charges up against Karl Rove or, perhaps, VP Cheney. They were hoping and hoping and waiting and WAITING and now it looks like NOTHING. There will be NO Merry Fitzmas as DUmmie Seansky has noted in his THREAD titled, "Where is Fitzgerald? No Fitzmas after all that?" So let us watch the DUmmies mourn over the Grinch who stole Fitzmas in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that the Abramoff indictment will also give the DUmmies No Cheer, is in the [brackets]:

i mean did he announce he was seeking a GJ indictment of rove? the law takes time people. im sure he now wants to toss abramoff in the mix. why not? you got a defendant, let's get all the charges in one swoop

well, you must be an idealist...and if you recall, it was one of the most reknown left blogs that created the Fitzmas name and got quite popular, so are you calling that blog a bunch of F idiots? and if I dared to think this whole thing as a game, I wouldn't be reading DU in the first place, or following the news so closely, or bothering posting among tons of other things I wouldn't be doing if I thought this whole thing was just a game. And as for Justice...It is taking too long and being too costly to be happening. JUSTICE Is WAY OVER DUE and if history is any indication, true justice might never arrive...look at all the crooks that have gotten away with so much in the past...And YES, Justice is way overdue.

I don't care how popular his blog is. When independants and righ-wing whackos hear "fitzmas" they think "partisan witch-hunt". It makes the issue appear as one big joke to the average person that doesn't follow this stuff 24/7. My father, a lifelong democrat, heard "Fitzmas" and rolled his eyes at it...
