Beto O'Rourke Is 'The Candidate'

While watching Beto O'Rourke announce his candidacy for president today, his empty platitudes and shallow buzzwords sounded very familiar. And then it hit me. Beto O'Rourke is "The Candidate." Not just a candidate but "The Candidate" as in the 1972 movie of the same name starring Robert Redford as Bill McKay as "The Candidate."
